Wonkatastic

The house is exactly as advertised. Great place to trip balls on some shrooms and have an hour long conversation with the Wonka shower curtain. He convinced me to divorce my wife and leave the kids with her and go find my true calling in the wilds of the desert in Utah. Been here ever since. My three new wives are the best thing that ever happened to me. And their combined ages is still younger than my ex-wife!10/10 will definitely be back for my next mid-life crisis!

Great property.

We enjoyed this property very much. Decor was exactly reflective of the movie. Our boys strolled down memory lane and laughed at all the things they could remember about the movie. Home was located within walking distance of restaurants and property owner/manager was VERY responsive and helpful.

It was an Oompa Loompa good time!!!

To start off the communication from start to finish was amazing with a very easy check in. This Charlie and the Chocolate Factory “gem” is located on a beautiful tree line street right next to the Children’s Hospital…..very quiet and residential but easy to get to everything. The place is decorated perfectly with lots of fun surprises everywhere. The decorations were on point, well done & and hilarious. Every corner we turned was another surprise! The unit is quite spacious with three full bedrooms with en suite baths. It was very clean & modern. it was well appointed with everything you would need for a short or long stay! I give it a 5 out of 5 Star review across the board!!! Choose this place and prepare to be completely comfortable and enjoy yourself with lots of laughs & smiles.

You Will Live in Happiness Too

Truly memorable stay. Everything was absolutely delightful and well-maintained. If anything, the listing under-promises. What an absolutely magical place. We sincerely appreciate all the time and thought that went into the design.And it wasn't just the amenities. The kitchen was fully stocked with plates, cutlery, and coffee/espresso makers; and the washer/dryer included detergent (which was a life-saver after our kiddo got their clothes soaked at the Children's Museum).I can't recommend this property highly enough.

A gem

Incredibly clean, absolutely lives up to the photos, host was responsive, location is great (safe and close to things), easy parking, the list goes on and on. I would hands-down recommend this place to anyone whether it’s a couples get away, a gathering of friends, or parents doing a stay-cation with their kiddos.

Family Fun Experience

We booked this as a fun place to stay while we were in town for the Steelers game. My seven year old daughter absolutely loved it! She is already planning our trip to come back. Great place to stay in awesome location. Does not disappoint!

Magical stay in Pittsburgh

The house was amazing. So comfortable for the four of us. We had some trouble with the wifi, but called the property manager and we fixed it quickly. Walking distance, both up the hill and down the hill, from some fantastic shops and places to eat.

Comfortable and quiet house near Allegheny Cemetery

Modern and clean with each bedroom having a full bath. The house was very quiet. The Willy Wonka decor is unusual endearing. Possibly because we arrived mid-week, we had a quick response from the City of Pittsburgh approving the variance request for parking on the street. If you're arriving on a Friday, you might send a request before you arrive. We would definitely rent this place again!

A stay with family

Overall we were satisfied staying 4 nights at this property. We were a group of 5 adults and 3 children. There were ample bathrooms. One critique is not having a comfortable/spacious couch to relax on. The couch is small and only accommodates two adults. Another is the top bunk mattress is so thick that it comes flush with the metal that is supposed to keep the person from rolling off during sleep. I wouldn't let my son sleep up there, or anyone. The location is great and it has a nice kitchen. Check-in, parking, etc, was a breeze.

Magical getaway

Brought 5 girls into the city to stay for 13 year old birthday. They were so excited about the house and loved all of the Willy wonka details. The only thing we couldn’t figure out was how to start the dishwasher but the check in process was easy and free parking was available in front. It was imaginative and fun for kids!

Magical Monday
