There is a bar on the property that is cold unwelcoming and run by someone who barely speaks English and has no idea of what is going on in the town. Very cold expensive and unwelcoming. A reason for us not to book this hotel again.

Despite being an older property that I stayed at about 30 years ago, they have maintained this property, kept it clean and was a much more pleasant day than some of the other properties close by that we have stayed at over the years

The property badly needs a reno. Its really tired looking and beat up. From spider webs overhead by the entrance to your room, to baseboards and corners beat up. They like to spray rooms prior to your arrival - what are they covering up? I do love the denny's as it make it convenient for breakfast.

Walking distance to the Penticton channel. I would like to suggest to add a shower for guests to use prior to using the pool/hot tub for sanitary purposes. Place is old but its not bad for a short stay. Staff were nice & helpful. Lots of parking available. Denny’s is next door if you prefer this.

I booked this room as a little escape for my friend and I and we loved almost everything about this hotel. The biggest issue we had was the laundry staff in the morning were EXTREMELY loud and did not seem to consider, nor care that there were guests sleeping in the rooms right around them. We were in room 126 but 127 and 128 at minimum had to have heard them as well. We loved the pool and hot tub but wished that the pool opened earlier than 10 am and that there was adult only time after a certain hour at night. The hotel was clean and the staff were good, we had to wait for the evening manager to come out of the back office (he had the door closed) anytime we needed a towel or returned a towel for the pool (yes, pool towels are dealt with at the front desk only.) We also enjoyed that there were the electric scooters out front that can be rented for a fun way to explore Penticton. Overall, would stay here again, just not near the laundry room.
