It smells weird and I think it might have something to do with the bags upon bags of trash on the one side of the building. We stayed four nights and the halls were not vacuumed once. Same bits of plastic and detritus on the floor the whole time. There were empty cans left around that finally disappeared on the fourth night. The access to the second floor rooms in the back wing was via a side door, down a hall, up two short flights of stairs then through another door to gain access to the doors and balconies of the room. Odd and inconvenient. We had to ask for clean towels and a roll of toilet paper. There were at least three guests airing out their kids’ rank hockey bags on the balcony strip to access the rooms, so the balcony was useless unless you enjoy the gagging smell of hockey bags. The hockey people, some of whom were rather rude and entitled, occupied the entire courtyard each night rendering it useless for anyone else. We sat off in a corner for a bit one night, but felt overrun. We booked this place specifically for the pool, hot tub, and fitness room. None of them were functional. I read one of their two pools was closed when I booked, didn’t say whether indoor or out. The hot tub jets didn’t really work and the equipment in the fitness room was broken. The breakfast room had a filthy fish tank. A big bowl of canned fruit cocktail was put out where one might expect to find a banana or apple. The waffle makers were great. Cheapest yellow “noname” coffee.

Good location, both pools closed

Hotel is in a great location. Both pools are closed with no date for opening them up as we were told the city inspector shut them down for having a pool liner that js the wrong colour. It is nice to have the breakfast included. The boiled eggs, cereal, muffins, waffles and toast are good. The eggs, sausages and potatoes are not good at all.

Floor in room was slanted. Good thing we weren't drunk! Air conditioner was extremely loud which made it difficult to sleep. Room was oddly designed with the bathroom sink outside of the bathroom next to the entrance. However, room was clean and towels were changed daily. Indoor and outdoor pools were closed and the hottub was cloudy. Needless to say, our bathing suits stayed neatly packed.

Our experience was mixed. The staff who greeted us at check in did not seem personable but our check out experience was stellar. The facility was clean but it was very unfortunate that the pools were closed despite it being tourist season. Our accessible room was clean, spacious, and well appointed. However, the uneven floor made keeping balance while moving around much more challenging than usual.

Booked last minute as my friends and I decided to extend our trip. Hotel was accommodating I asked for an early check in and although I didn’t end up checking in early they accommodated the request. Was very close to the penticton channel which was great as I just parked at the hotel and walked across the street. Room was clean and spacious, great hotel especially in a pinch.
