Beach View

Great location, quiet and beautiful well maintained grounds. The only thing that would make this one of the best hotels I ever stayed at in BIM would be wait staff to take food and drink orders by the pool side.

Beautiful hotel, condo style. Spacious, clean and comfortable. Everything you need is available inside your suite. Property is exceptionally. Check-in was quick and fast, manager meets you. I will definitely be returning again in the near future.

We were very pleased with Beach View, Paynes Bay. The suite was spacious, clean and well stocked with everything you could need for a relaxing stay away from home. Air conditioning and ceiling fans were available for relief for the heat. Great pool area and access to the beach is just a short walk across the street. The street is very busy but as long as you watch the flow of traffic you won't be disappointed. I would certainly stay at Beach View again and recommend it to loved ones and friends. The manager, Robert works extremely hard. We saw him busy early in the morning and throughout the day making sure the grounds were maintained. The staff were all very courteous and helpful. Truly a Bajan gem.

The daughter of the owner is very friendly and helpful. The rest of the staff is less so. The cook at the tiny restaurant are not friendly. The view of the sea is nice. The location is OK. It took us time to find the beach (ask for it).

Beautiful, clean, cozy, quiet and just across from the beach and buses in and out of town. The best hometown quaint restaurants. Great for inexpensive local cuisine. Staff at hotel are attentive and helpful. Rooms are apartment like and lovely. Excellent property. You can rent a car or property manager will find you an on call taxi guide. Me and my lovie had a absolutely wonderful time.

The hotel far exceeded our expectations. We loved the property. The suite was well equipped, very spacious with a large balcony. The staff was quite friendly.

We were met at the airport by a driver which Carrie arranged for us , which was wonderful. Robin met us there as we arrived and showed us our from and how everything worked. Our apartment ( condo) was clean and well equipped. This place was fine, clean, and Robin & Carrie were fabulous. We LOVED going to Robin( the owner ) house for cocktails on Thursdsy night , that was fabulous!!!!! We really liked the place. I just had an issue witht the busy road in front. We walked plenty up and down to restaurants and ice cream but trying to relax at pool hearing street noise was a little bothersome . Other than that , Robin and staff can't do enough for you , they answer the emails immediately and the coctail party was so Lovely. This is a great value and a great island.

The staff was very friendly, and Informative. The grounds were absolutely beautiful. Nice and spacious rooms. to sum it all up a home away from home tucked in paradise.

We just returned from 5 nights at Beach View and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The apartments are beautifully appointed and the kitchen is fully stocked with all the dishware/cooking utensils you could need. Additionally, the location was great -- you're just a bit out "of the thick of it" from Holetown but still close enough to walk to a few great restaurants or drive a couple kms to Holetown.

A spacious, comfy 2 bedroom suite with 2 bathrooms, a lovely living/lounge room, good kitchen with everything you may need, even a washer/dryer. Friendly, helpful staff. Good location: 5 min walk to the beach, several restaurants, gas station.

The hotel set up was just what we were looking for. Three bedrooms/2 baths. We were a party of 4 ladies and there were 2 king rooms and 1 Room with twin beds. The kitchen had all the utensils you needed to prepare a home cooked meal. Eating out in Barbados can be very expensive so it was great that we could make a simple breakfast or lunch. Public transport was only 200 feet away but be aware of the private owned vans ( unless you enjoy riding a roller coaster). The beach view hotel is lovely and I would highly recommend it.

My husband and I stayed at the Beach View last week and we have nothing but positive things to say about our time spent there. The condo was beautiful and very clean. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was great as the beach was right there. I would certainly recommend the Beach View should you be visiting Paynes Bay, Barbados.

We loved our stay. Everything was as described. We were upgraded to a beach view upon arrival. The staff was extremely helpful, the hotel was more like a condo than a hotel, very clean. The beach and coral reef are 60 seconds from the hotel gate. All sorts of snorkeling equipment, chairs, umbrellas, etc were free for the taking. Excellent experience.

My wife and I chose Beach View because it offered what we wanted most from our stay in Barbados--at a very reasonable price. We were even happier with the hotel than we expected. For our week in Barbados we wanted very comfortable and tasteful accommodations, with a beautiful view and within walking distance of a great beach and good restaurants. We didn't need to be right on the beach or to have restaurant service at the hotel. At Beach View we got everything we expected and more. Our third-floor suite was huge--and very well furnished and decorated. It had a big sunroom overlooking the Caribbean off the living room and a cozy balcony off the bedroom. The views were spectacular--including a turquoise sea in the mornings, shimmering waters in the afternoons and gorgeous sunsets. The kitchen was well equipped, and we used it for simple breakfasts and several other meals that enabled us to justify splurging on more fine restaurant meals than we would have if we had had to eat out for every meal. (Our most memorable meal was at the Cariba restaurant, a very short walk from Beach View.) Having to cross the road to get to the beach was a negative, but the beach was very nice, especially a few hundred feet to the north where condos and hotels front directly on the beach and the road seems miles away. The pool at Beach View is not very exciting, but since we much prefer beaches, we didn't mind or even use the pool. And we didn't need or miss a hotel lobby or hotel bar. But we did find Beach View was a good base location from which to explore the island.

There are many very positive reviews written about this condo and the all proved to be true. The rooms are clean and adequately equipped, the service is prompt. The location of the hotel is somewhat away from the beach, but if you mind walking, rent a car.
