Finding this abode was challenging as the address took us to an RV park rather than the actual house. Then, the instructions to get the key out of the lockbox were not specific enough, so someone had to be called to let us in. Not a good start! The next morning there was no hot water for showers. Again, a call to our hostess solved that. The accommodations were very nice. However, my daughter counted 19 trains that went by on the nearby track our first night. Paxico is a precious village and we spent several hours shopping at Mill Creek Antiques and meeting Bud Hund, the owner, was memorable! As a welcome gift, our hostess left a dozen of her ranch-raised eggs in the frig in a beautiful box! What a nice surprise that was!Carolyn & Kathy VosburgHouston, TX
