The place was very nice & spacious, but we didn't know it was a duplex. We were very concerned about keeping our dogs quiet so as not to disturb anyone. We don't know if anyone was on the other side & it wasn't a problem, we just didn't know about it until we got there. There is no yard to speak of. We also would have appreciated more communication with the owner, NOT the property manager (he was great & pretty prompt with responses, but didn't have the autonomy to make financial-related decisions), since there was a state of emergency due to a coastal storm. We would have appreciated options, but it was a weekend and the storm did turn and go out to sea after we arrived. We ended up with 2 rainy days, which wasn't too bad. It was just frustrating to not know what to do before the storm turned out to sea and risk losing all of our money. It was a 12-hour drive. We would have been happy to choose a different available 5 night stay. It wasn't just rainy weather at the time, is was a state of emergency declared by the governor. And I never did find the actual fine print of the cancellation policy. The whole transaction processes differently because of the software program the owners use. It's just different than other VRBO's we have used. In the end, it all worked out ok.

Property is exactly as pictured and described. Very basic - but also very clean. Comfortable beds, easy parking. Great /fast communication for questions. Easy drive to beach (roads not very conducive to walking). Would recommend a spigot and faucet outside for washing feet and sandy paws, but otherwise exactly what we expected and good value.

Our shar-pei made herself right at home. This was her second trip staying here. Your house is very well maintained. During our stay we had three services provided. The house was power washed, the hot tub serviced and repairs were made in the bathroom. The neighbors party a lot at night. Overall we did enjoy our visit!

This is exactly what we were looking for! It's located in a great spot on the South causeway- just a quick bike ride or drive to the beach. It's peaceful and quiet- lots of shade and nice parking.The space is so nicely decorated and comfortable- it's just a really easy place to stay in. We only used the main bedroom with the king size- amazingly comfortable. We didn't use the hot tub but it looked clean and well-maintained. The neighbors are close-by but you don't feel that when inside the house. The owner does a nice job of communicating and making it easy with the check-out process. We plan to stay here again! Very thankful to find this place!

Awesome little house

Great location. Close to stores, gas, restaurants, and beach. Very nice home for the price. Definitely would recommend it for a family as the kids had their own room and my wife who likes to turn in early could do so without being bothered. Host was very responsive and communicated with us, even recommending a great place for dinner.

Surprised by all of the positive ratings. Here are the issues we experienced: 1. A door broken/hanging off hinges.2. Unable to use hot tub due to cleanliness 3. One toilet out of order for stay4. Beach chairs missing 5. Mildew smell that we could not solve 6. Needed to deal with a plumber to assess toilet as were checking out.7.Sharp edges at border of master bedroom and hallway (could not walk barefoot).8. Construction crew in the house next door with very early starts and loud talkers. 9. Towels were bleach stained and thin. For a property with generally positive reviews, we were unfortunately disappointed in our stay.

Very Comfortable House

We enjoyed our recent stay. The house was very nice. Very clean and the king sized bed was very comfortable. Everything we needed was in place with plenty of towels. Kitchen was very well stocked and the house was spacious and comfortable. The proximity to the beach was farther than we expected and the houses are very close in proximity but the neighbors were quite so no issues. Very conveniently located and close to grocery stores and restaurants.

Great Spot

Our visit to Pawleys Island and Georgetown was restful, it is a quaint quiet area, just what we were hooing for. The location of this property is perfect, just a short distance from the beach and grocery store. We would stay again.

Spring break in Pawleys Island

Great place for our family’s spring break trip. Plenty of room for our family of 5 and dogs. Everything was as described in the listing. Easy access to the beach and close to state parks and many SC costal attractions.Would stay again!

When we travel we don’t usually spend much time in the rental, so the most important thing is the comfort of the beds and safety. Both of those things were met just fine. The master bed was very comfy! We did BBQ one night, and a few additional kitchen items would’ve come in handy (bbq grill brush, platters, etc) but we made due. My biggiest complaints are that the master bedroom door lock didn’t work and The towels in the linen closet were damp upon arrival. Other than that, the host is very easy to communicate with and there was enough space for my family! Thank you!

Good location, very clean

We stayed for 3 nights. Overall the unit is very nice and clean. We loved that we could bring our dog. There were a few minor things that we let Nathan know about and hopefully he has addressed them. If you plan to cook, bring your spices and a few good knives (and a peeler). The outdoor jacuzzi is not private as all the neighbors are in very close proximity. The pictures don’t show it. We didn’t use it so, not a huge deal for us. There is a Lowe’s grocery store and a Food Lion close by. The beach is maybe a mile or two (max) away. We went to the Rustic Table one night for dinner. I highly recommend it. Food, cocktails and service were outstanding!Overall the inside pictures were a true representation. The king bed was comfortable. Our 1st time at Pawleys and we thought it was great.
