Nice facility. Stayed here many times since the 70's. Good value for the money. Room newly redecorated. Nice job. Floor could have been cleaner, but heck it's beachfront. Would and will visit again.

Great views from the tower building. Good restaurant & bar. Need softer sheets.

We have been staying at or near this resort for more than 40 years. The facility is well maintained, and like any thing in constant use it is representative of 60's and 70's. Parking is adequate, but at times you to search for a spot. But it is high Summer and you're at a resort. Didn't try the restaurant this time, but they were very busy when I walked by. The room was clean and the air conditioner recently replaced. The refrigerator was enormous for a room unit. The staff is exceptionally friendly, and when our maid asked us to come back, she meant it. Bottom line is that I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

it was a very peaceful stay. The restaurant on site is very pricey with no other light fare options available.

Right on the beach!! Delicious restaurant. Very nice staff. Will return.

This is a clean, a little worn, very casual ocean front hotel, the only ocean front hotel on Pawleys. Nice casual dining room, bar only open until 9. Fine dining restaurant on second level.

Arrived around 7 Pm and was greeted by friendly staff. Got to the room and discovered it was not the King I had reserved. The desk Clerk and manager graciously found my wife and I a king available, an actual upgrade to poolside (at no cost to us). Very pleased with the bright and cheery décor of the new room which was quite clean and fresh smelling. Only complaint was a few light bulbs needed to be replaced...no big deal really. Overall, a nice stay. Walkways to the beach are in great shape and the showers on the landing as you return are very handy indeed! Would visit again!

While this property isn't terrible, the web site sets extremely unrealistic expectations and thus sets guests up for significant disappointment. Pros: beach access and location; the rooms are clean. Cons: the property is very outdated, inside and outside; the rooms are dark - we had a poolside room and were unable to open our windows to get fresh air and hear the ocean, which was disappointing. It's totally obvious that the high-ish price is based solely on the ocean front location, and as the only redeeming factor, I really don't feel that this property is worth the price. I'd not recommend it to a friend and I wouldn't stay here again.

couldn't find the registration desk as normal access was blocked by construction and no signage indicating how to find ones way in. First room assigned was ground floor adjacent to construction project with all parking spaces blocked off, no view and no running water! Moved to another building to a cramped room with only one lamp. Would not return

We were very pleased with the location and the size and cleaniness of the room! The wooden rocking chairs on the balconey overlooking the dunes and ocean was perfect!!!

The staff was very accommodating and was very helpful. The room that we stayed in was updated and very clean.

Very nice and comfortable stay. Close to great restaurants and attractions. We will be back.

We were actually getting married down the road so we weren't able to make it in time to check-in before the wedding. They actually made the room available to us beforehand, although we still didn't have time, it was really nice that they did that for us. We would definitely recommend this hotel for every reason possible. Everything was amazing...thank you so much!

The experience was fine. However, I did not get the type bed requested. Requested queen or king and had two doubles. I did not complained since I had carried my belongings into the room.

there was confusion about an oceanfront room, if you want an oceanfront room you need to call hotel, online can't handle

First time staying at The Litchfield Inn! Nice place. Kids really enjoyed their stay. We would definitely stay here again!

My wife and i came here for our honeymoon for a couple of days since she could not take off for a week because of her job. The pictures look like the rooms are contemporary and beautiful. They are actually very deceiving pictures. Outside is really old looking almost like a motel. The room at first smelt bad because they dont leave the ac unit on but once i cranked it on it was better. The bed looked like it came out of the 60s along with the rest of the furniture. The bathroom saved it though. Very nice updated bathroom! Also the walls are super thin. I could hesr the people next to us talking at night. Also would not recommend this area for a young couple. There is absolutely nothing to do. You have to drive to myrtle for anything. All in all we made it work but these photos are photoshopped like crazy! Nothing looks like it does in the pictures. Was very angry about that

I had to change rooms because the first one I had was smoky smelling and did not look like the pictures advertised.

The pictures are deceptive and our room was nothing like it was pictured. The location was also misleading and it is not as close to Myrtle Beach as advertised on the website. We spent more time in the car than enjoying the beach. For the price we paid, we felt we got nothing in return. The only perk was that the beach wasn't as crowded. We would NOT recommend this property or stay again. I would not call this a three star property!

The hotel was nice and clean even though its an older building, the staff was great, the lady that did the check in for us couldn't find our reservation but she stood up and really UPGRADE our room after confirming the reservation.. We ended up in a Villa (like a Cottage) with 2 rooms, very comfy beds, full kitchen, dining room, etc.. we even had washer and dryer.. the pros: Continental breakfast included, 2 pools (kids & adults), Location was really exclusive in a middle to high end neighborhood, semi private beach (not crowded at all), there are fast food restaurants very close, only 20 min away from Myrtle Beach, Broadway at the beach, etc.. the cons are: the food at the hotel bar was ok but very expensive, the showers in the room had no pressure and very poor water flow,
