It’s not to the level of an American hotel, but it is acceptable! Difficulty with the size of the room, I unfortunately tripped on a leg of a chair in front of the bed, it was narrow, and I still feel some pain! This I believe was a handicapped room, but there were minimal grips and slip free matting in the shower and the sink was nice, but no room for you toothpaste and brush! Saw two other rooms, suitcases had to be opened on the bed for lack of space, our room on the ground floor was comfortable temp wise but the upstairs rooms were noisy in the 100 building and hot as there was no air conditioning! These rooms would be okay in other seasons! The staff made up for the minor problems! They were very helpful and pleasant, sort of makes up for some of the lack of convenience! Hotel is a short walk around the corner to some nice markets and restaurants, not too far to the metro, if you don’t have difficulty walking, but I survived. Next time I will have a motor scooter with me, a folding one would be quite helpful getting arouNd!

Tired and risk of theft

The hotel is very tired indeed. The rooms are tiny and in serious need of redecoration and the bathrooms were no better. The breakfast was so disappointing that we stopped going after the first couple of days. To add insult to injury we had clothing and a substantial amount of money stolen from one of our rooms. When we spoke to the hotel about this they just refused to acknowledge that anything had happened. Needless to say we will not be returning.

Great Hotel for the price in a good area.

We were staying here for our honeymoon. We decided as we were only sleeping here it made sense to not go for a more expensive hotel. We were pleasantly surprised though. The staff were friendly and helpful and the room, especially the bed was very comfortable. To be completely honest, the hotel could do with some upgrading as certain parts looked a little tired but it was always clean. The area was fantastic! Very easy to access all Paris attractions via the metro that we as less than a 5 minute walk from the hotel. I would definitely stay again.

The hotel staff were so very welcoming and accommodating. The only drawback about my stay was the hotel does not have central air but I was supplied with a fan. Overall I am happy that I chose Pavillon Villiers Etoile and my first trip to Paris was magnificent :-).

Small rooms a little dated but clean, staff were very friendly, the hotel is a short walk from the metro and you can be in the centre of Paris within 10 minutes, small street market just round the corner and plenty cafes within easy walking distance

The rooms do not have Air Conditioning and tiny. Please make a note of this prior to booking a room. Since I am an Asian, I was able to adjust. For Western folks, this might not be the hotel if visiting Paris. Everything else was ok, including a closeby market and metro. If you do not care about the budget, size of room and air conditioning, this hotel is ok. If not, look for better options.
