Staff had an issue constantly with me walking with my dog even though it’s pet friendly. Many staff would actually make me wait just so they could go by without interacting with my dog. My dog isn’t aggressive, and I’m not sure why people who are afraid of animals work at a fully pet friendly motel. Staff was rude to me, refused to clean my room or even ask me when they could because one time they walked in while my dog was in there because I was having a smoke. No fridge, no microwave. All of 5 tv channels that work. Cards are constantly breaking and needing to be replaced. Overall it was gross staying there, only got my room cleaned once in a week. Only got my bedding changed once in a week. It’s more expensive than other motels that are BY FAR better.

Staff were great. It was close to lots of restaurants. Room was run down, outdated and needed to be cleaned better. Hallways had a bad smell and dingy look.

Room was not cleaned properly, the thermostat was not working right it was set at a normal temperature but it was 95 degrees in the room and the heat wouldn’t stop running unless we turned it off even when we set it to auto it wouldn’t turn off and on or stop running at the set temp. So we had to open all the windows. The towel rack in the washroom was broken and half hanging off the wall as well. We were only staying one night so we just made it work.

Bed was not comfortable. Needs to be replaced. Found a woman’s long hair under my pillow first 10 minutes after I checked bedding. Noisy at all hours of the night by regulars in Motel. Satellite does not keep strong signal. It smells in Hallways. I’ve stayed here multiple times hoping it would be better, but only the rates are great. 2 stars is all I can recommend.

There was good and bad. The hotel is located in a great area (conveniently close to a 401 exit), has several restaurants nearby, a good rate, and clean and comfortable rooms. No problems with the staff. But there were some irritants, such as the hotel's refusal to accept cash or debit. If a customer does not have a credit card, he is screwed. They'll ask for your driver's licence upon checking-in and record its number, even though it is illegal to do that per the PIPEDA law. Also, the bathtub did not have any plug, the security latch on the door did not work, there was no remote for the TV when I arrived, and on the second night the room cards did not work. Had to waste time going back downstairs to get them fixed.
