Upon arrival/check-in, I received slight attitude from the lady checking us in. It was raining that day, so everything was a hot mess to begin with. Other than that, the stay was decent. The room seemed very small even though it does state that it is over 200 sq ft. Although it is "luxury", I probably would have been better of settling for a different hotel.

The room was comfortable but snug. We booked a triple, but it looked like the room we stayed at used to be a double and then they just added a temporary bed in there, so it was extra tight. The amenities were okay. Staff was very friendly.

Loved our stay at the Royal! Fantastic start to our Japan trip and if we could we would have booked it in every city we are staying. Staff- super friendly and helpful, rooms - had everything we needed, view - amazing, breakfast- delicious (with lots of choice for a vegetarian too). Location was awesome as well - on the main Midosouji strip. Couldn't recommend it enough - thank you!
