Client in next room was screaming nonn-stop; EXTREMELY upsetting and kept us awake for hours. We did not get a restful sleep after an 8 hr drove😬 Client was asked by the front desk to vacate premises around 5am. Not sure we will be returning to this location😵

Santee is literally the armpit of South Carolina. Not the hotels fault, just a place to avoid as a stop.

Dirty run down motel (I selected hotel), paint job in the room done by 4 year old. Doors not safe and the surrounding area not landscaped or cleaned in 5 years. Charged me $25.00 for my dog to sleep in the room for a cleaning fee and my dog told me he didn't want to sleep here. (lol). Slept with the feelings of "when do I need to fight for my car or life" Couldn't believe this property was being sold to Expedia clients. The pool area was awful and the breakfast was waffles & cereal and awful coffee. DONT stay here unless you like what I wrote.

I want to start out with saying we were a late arrival. (A call was made to the hotel earlier to confirm our reservation and inform them of the arrival time). The hotel front was dimly lit. I was greeted by staff member through a glass passthrough in the lobby door. This required me to stand outside in a barely lit courtyard while we exchanged info. The property looked like it was in some type of renovation due to piles of equipment at the back end of property. As we pulled up to our room, we encountered people hanging out in front of our room and more people “hanging out” a couple doors down. It was after midnight. Due to the lack of lighting, not familiar with surroundings and late hour, we did not feel safe. We quickly entered the room. It was a musty smell mixed with fresh paint. The sheets were filthy. The bathroom was not clean. Hair in the tub with dirt. Towels looked like they were used. As we were discussing our options, a bug started to crawl up the wall. This made our final decision. We went back to the front and explained why we couldn’t stay (with pictures). I explained I needed a refund because room was not clean, and property was not safe (as I was lead to believe on website). The staff member said she would take care of it. The results: after several attempts from Travelocity staff, I was given 1/2 my payment back and no room for the evening. Very disappointed for a Wyndham property. I do not recommend.

Really only liked the price and the on hands manager. You get what you pay for! No hot water for shower for almost 10 minutes. Ready to give up, hot water. Manager said there was a problem yesterday with something. Could not understand him. Again I tried to save a few $'s. Wife says worse we ever stayed. I agree. Never again. Thanks for asking

The price was great. It's an old building and needs alot of work. The room was surfaced clean. The air-conditioned vents need to be cleaned. The bathroom floor was clean but could use a good scrubbing. The refrigerator freezer needs to be defrosted. The towels need to up graded. If your staying for one night its the place to go.
