We had a wonderful weekend at this beach house. Literal steps from the beach. Outdoor pool area is fantastic and fully fenced in. Kitchen had all the utensils we needed. Lots of towels—enough for the beach and showers. It was a great few days.

Beachfront easy!

We had a great stay at this property, the beach access was easier than other beachfront houses we have rented. The parking underneath was great for having extra vehicles and a golf cart. The pool was an added bonus. We would definitely rent this place again

Amazing fall getaway

After the hurricane affected our plans, we booked a weekend at the beach. The location and amenities here were amazing - the pool, the beach, the rocking chairs, the golf cart were all perfect. And the communication with the management was some of the best I’ve experienced at any rental. Yes, could use a little refresh here and there inside but the location, and beach more than made up for it. Overall fantastic weekend!

Baseball Weekend

Excellent experience. The boys stayed in the bunk room, fished, and swam in the pool. For a short weekend, full of baseball, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves by just staying at the house!!! Area is great!!! Highly recommend!

DO NOT RENT this duplex

Do NOT rent this duplex! We had a terrible experience from check in to check out. This house needs a deep clean, it’s very nasty!! As soon as we walked in we noticed the house had barely been cleaned. We had to immediately leave to get over $200 in cleaning supplies to clean the house ourselves. The comforters were filthy… We had to sit up most of the night to wash them. The Carpet!!!GROSS… the downstairs bathroom has a sewer or toilet leak and is soaking into both downstair bedroom carpet and walls. It was so bad that 1/2 of our family had to leave early due to the smell and disgust. The management company isn't very helpful either so do yourself a favor and book elsewhere. OIB is our favorite beach and this island is amazing, but not this duplex. Pics are also very deceiving, the house is much smaller than it looks. Also the dryer was messed up. We had to file a complaint and schedule our trip around 3 different repairmen. The only nice addition to this house is the deck and pool area Find a house on east 3rd street!

Beware of CoolBnBs listings

I rented a home listed on VRBO from CoolBNBS; the home came up as I searched for homes (not shared spaces) with a *private pool* on VRBO. Excited to book a home for my family, I immediately booked online through the app late at night. The next morning, I noticed a disclaimer in the details of the listing amenities that said the pool is shared with the home next door. It turns out the listing is actually a duplex, but unlike similar listings on VRBO, the word 'duplex' doesn't appear anywhere in the description. I made an honest mistake in booking the property for a holiday weekend and less than 9 hours later I realized my error and immediately reached out to try to cancel. CoolBnBs has a 'strict cancellation' policy that says if you book within 14 days of your stay, you are only entitled to a 50% refund for a cancellation. I asked for consideration and emphasized that I am not comfortable having my wife and my daughter share a pool on our family vacation and I explained how I found their listing and how I could be misled. CoolBnBs did nothing and VRBO could not intervene. Basically I feel like CoolBnBs held me up for thousands of dollars for an honest and understandable mistake that should have been reasonable to foresee from the way that they market the duplex. I couldn't take a half refund because that's half the budget for my family vacation and because that just seems ridiculously excessive for what happened. CoolBnBs made no effort to compromise, nor have they made any
