Right on the pier of the beach

I have to say it was the greatest location if you have young kids. We had Dunkin right under the room, it walked out to the beach, and it was right on the pier for anything else you wanted to do. I saw some reviews state that there was no view and while this was true, with three kidos 8, 9,10, it was much more important that we were able to park the car for the week and just enjoy being within walking distance to everything. Especially having to haul about chairs, beach toys, towels etc. Location was everything. I did wish it had more of a kitchen so that we didn't have to eat out every meal but still had a fridge area. Check in was easy and the guy that met us at check in was super nice and even helped us get our stuff in the room. I would stay here again!

Last minute booking

My family decided to book this place last minute in lieu of staying separately in hotels. Check in was easy. We arrived early and went to the beach and waited for the PM to text us when the room was ready. Upon arrival, the unit was clean. ACs were in every room & worked great! Some things that weren't so great: Room felt a little like a cardboard box. Window in one bedroom opened to the next build over, no view or real sunlight, Window in another room opened to the stairway where the lights remain on all night long. They did put up some taped together pictures which did not help and just made the place look cheap. I would recommend removing those and just adding black out shades. Plenty of light in the twin bedroom where the kids stayed. A small vacuum would have made a world of difference! There was a broom but with all hard flooring, we could not keep up with the sand.. The sponge in the kitchenette should be replaced every flip. Ours was clearly WELL used. Very tight kitchenette, not very useable and the apartment was so basement feeling that we did not choose to eat in at all during our stay. Overall the build updates were very DIY, but I wouldn't say that it really matters for the amount of time we were actually there.

Beautiful place

A very nice place to stay with friends and Family. Safe for kids as well. I really loved it. I was walking to the beach without my shoes. The bars, stores and restaurants are outside. I will be staying there everytime I'm at the OC. The young man that does checkin is really nice very polite always ready to help. Thank you again

Great location but apt did not meet expectations

Location could not be any better and the apt is clean. We were very thankful the weather was beautiful all week so that we did not need to be inside the apt other than to sleep and shower. Biggest complaint is the bathroom and kitchen. When inside the apt, It does feel that you are living in a cave as the outside windows look onto the adjacent building (which is stated in the description). Seems to be very over-priced for the value. It is an extremely small apartment and the bathroom is almost non-usable. The water in the shower trickles out and the size of the shower is really small (similar to one on a cruise ship). We needed to step outside the shower to shave our legs as you cannot bend over without hitting your head on the wall. The renovation that was done was probably the lowest budget that I've seen. We have stayed in MANY VRBO properties and this was the most disappointing. We booked very late so we had very few alternatives. I know you can get a much larger, functional space for the money.
