Complex, pools and view from this unit are beautiful!

The complex was lovely, well maintained and well planned, with every balcony having an ocean view. There was construction going on, but fortunately they didn’t usually start before 8:00 and we are early risers, so it wasn’t a problem. The neighbourhood is beautiful, but we did find it a bit out of the way. Most restaurants required at least two buses or a taxi, but groceries were only a 15 minute walk down the road. The balconies were large but one of the balcony doors was difficult to open. There were a couple of items we felt were missing from the condo ( face cloths, hand towels) but they were brought in ( brand new!) the next day along with a few other extras that we hadn’t requested but were very nice to have. The owner was very responsive to our questions and requests.

Beautiful place

We really enjoyed our time here. It was very relaxing. The condo had everything you needed. The pools were great and very big. The only thing lacking was chairs by the pool and ocean. They had plenty but you could only lay down in them. But the condo provided folded chairs that you could use so that solved the problem.

Great swimming pools, on the beach

Accessing the property requires you to go through security, therefore ensuring you have all of the specifics about your rental - unit number, owner name etc . . . is required. There is a lot of construction going on right next to the unit which starts at approximately 0800. The unit has lovely decks, however your view of the ocean is limited. There were zero toiletries (outside a small bar of hand soap) or supplies for the unit. There were only bath towels (no pool/beach towels) provided, however, there were beach chairs, umbrella and cooler. We had two minor issues - the remote for the wall air conditioning unit was missing from the back bedroom, and our water cooler was empty. I did notify the owner of the property who indicated it would be addressed, however we arrived on Wednesday late afternoon, and it was not tended to before we checked out on Friday. I would have rated this rental higher, had those two items been addressed - especially the water. There is an amazing grocery store within reasonable walking distance (1/2 -3/4 mile). Uber is MUCH cheaper than taxi's in this area. If you do not speak fluent Spanish, I would suggest downloading a translation app on your smart phone. If you get a chance, visit the town square in Bucerias after 7pm - the churro cart on the corner called Churros Benavides, Los Originales - there are multiple churro carts, this older gentleman by FAR makes a churro unlike any other. Walking through the streets in Bucerias was a wonderful experience, if you like Italian food - highly recommend eating at Mezzogiornio on the beach. Also, look for the lady selling the fresh bakery out of the basket. Unreal pastries.

Great location and even better host!

We had some minor issues on the first day but one call to the the host and someone was there within hours to resolve the issue. I would stay here anytime I visit the Puerto Vallarta area and recommend all my friends and family to this property.
