We’ve stayed at Moose Tracks a few times (as well as once at the neighboring Caribou Cabin) and always enjoy our visits. The cabin is super comfortable, well-stocked, and a convenient location to the bases, North Pole/Fairbanks and the main highway to go as far as you want to on a day trip. Jamie is a wonderful, communicative host.

This cabin is exactly what I was looking for. A Cozy cabin with all the necessary amenities for Alaska. It's located at the end of a small development. Plenty of space between cabins. The property manager was easy to work with, much appreciated.

Cozy and comfortable retreat

The cabin was spotless, well maintained and very comfortable. Everything we needed was there. The area was quiet and dark, great for viewing the northern lights. It's location near the end of a dead end street was perfect. Only a few miles to grocery stores, restaurants and fuel. I'd go back in a minute.

Nice cabin, but not location 😕

The cabin was nice,except the fan in the bathroom make a lot of noise when is on and the pumps wich is in the closet in the living room area .if you rest in the livingroom you'll know when someone is using the bathroom.The location is not that good, the area are looking after the hurricane destroyed houses.

Jamie left a few snacks for us which was very nice. Knowing we needed the couch, she put out the linens. Not far from Fairbanks at all. (Walmart was a bonus)

We stayed a quick night for a wedding in the area. It was clean and had everything we needed. The only downside is that you have to navigate narrow stairway to get to the bedroom in the loft and the bathroom is downstairs.

I didn't stay but my friend said it was great. The only downside was that because of the smoke from the wildfires the meeting she came to Alaska for was moved from Harding Lake area into Fairbanks so she wasn't as close to the event as we had planned. Not your fault at all.

Nice cabin about 2 1/5 miles from nearest shopping, Safeway, and dining. Convenient to highways. Bedroom is upstairs using a rather steep stairs, bathroom is on1st floor, might be a problem if there are mobility issues. Immediate area around property is in good shape, but across the street is a derelict property and thrash heap.

Gold Star ⭐️

What a treat. This property was nothing less than perfect for our first ever, and week long visit to the Fairbanks / Eielson AFB area. Perfectly located between the two. Coming from the blistering heat of the Arizona desert, we had no idea North Pole was such a gem. The Moose Tracks Cabin had everything we needed and then some. It was quiet, clean, well-appointed, and nicely decorated with thoughtful decor. It was abundantly evident Jamie is very proud of this property, and maintains a high standard with it. The bed was comfortable, the linens were nice quality, the shower was great, and the washer/dryer was nice and super easy to operate. Jamie was so very responsive to every message I sent her… now if only she could have summoned a moose to wander by the kitchen window while we were there, that would have been the topper on the tree! Next time… :-) Cheers to VRBO hosts like Jamie!

Fantastic Cabin!

My husband and I have visited North Pole several times now for our getaways from city life in Texas. We have always chosen this particular host and her VRBO properties because they’re reasonably priced, clean, comfortable and beautiful. Jamie, the host is a great communicator.
