"I booked this hotel for a weekend getaway with my husband to celebrate our wedding anniversary, specifically because it advertised as having a spa and was hoping to book a massage and spa treatments but when we arrived I realized that the “spa” services were primarily cosmetic facial skin services - very disappointing. The market was convenient and had good breakfast and lunch offerings and is stocked with specialty food, wine and other convenience store items. The restaurant on premises is excellent. Valet parking guys are friendly. The hotel itself is very clean and modern, modular European style. The lobby area is a little awkward and cramped but the staff are friendly and pleasant. Hotel grounds and pool area are beautifully landscaped. The room was a small fully equipped studio apartment with washer/dryer a fridge, dishwasher and Nespresso coffee maker. Luxury bathrobes in the bathroom and the toiletries were amazing, I wish I could purchase them to take home! The bedding was very soft and comfortable but the bed was placed up against the wall so it was awkward getting in and out of bed. There were no bedside lamps so I had to use my phone light to read at night. The windows are floor to ceiling in the bedroom and bathroom but you can see directly into the rooms of the buildings next door and likewise they could look at us so we kept the blinds closed most of the time for privacy. Overall good hotel, would stay here again."
