Large room with plenty of space, even with the sofa bed pulled out. Parking lot was well maintained. There was a nice sized *clean* area to walk dogs with bags and a disposal. The smokers' station was covered, though not protected from the wind (hazard of being a smoker). Not the most comfortable bed, but the other guests in the party didn't mind them at all. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Definitely one of my better stays in Norfolk.

The initial face to face with the front desk was very poor, the attendant was unfriendly, did not look us in the eye, was impolite, and told us she was bored with her job. Not exactly the type of greeting one wants after a long day of travel.The breakfast was very poor, as there was very little quality of choices. The room itself was decent.

Staff was very nice and helpful. Our first room had a leaky window with a sopping wet towel on the windowsill. They quickly moved us to another room. They day they came to service our room the bed was left unmade, there was no toilet paper and only 1 towel was replaced. The night receptionist apologized and provided toilet paper and towels. The next day they serviced the room again and left a wet, dirty rag by the TV and one of the "clean" washcloths was dirty. We've stayed here before and never had an issue. Clearly they are having issues with housekeeping.
