Although the resort is lovely, I rated it a 3 because I feel like we were misled on things. We arrived at 4pm, check in time, and were told our room was not ready. We had to wait over an hour with no explanation, no apology, nothing. There are extra fees tacked on for everything. I'm still trying to figure out why I paid over $100 more than expected. They use an annoying AI assistant to text you in case you need anything. I requested an in-room microwave since I have food allergies and sometimes need to heat my own food. Despite what it said in the info on Expedia, no microwave is available. We were supposed to get a $5 credit for not using housekeeping services but did not receive when others did. When I asked about it, I was directed to the front desk where I was told "oh yes, you are on our list to get the credit slip this evening". By then, it would have been too late for us to use it (they did give it to me when I went to the front desk).
