Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean, with all the amenities I need. My only complaint: my room (similar to the one pictured) did not have a lamp or reading light next to or over the bed.

We didn’t get in until late so it was very dark. I initially missed my turn because there wasn’t a lighted sign. I was quite nervous as to what the room would look like as it was in a run—down part of town and the parking lot was pretty dark; but, I was pleasantly surprised at how clean the room was! It is not modern, but served its purpose as a safe and clean place to sleep for the night. I like that the motel had reached out to me earlier in the day via text giving the door code and cell phone number if we needed anything during our stay - so check in was a breeze! Something worth mentioning that is not the motel’s fault; we hadn’t had dinner yet and were starving by the time we got there. The choices in town were very limited. It was a Friday around 8:30p and most places were closed or closing. I would strongly recommend eating before you get into town.

Newcastle is a pleasant small town with a great little diner in the centre of town and a small cinema. The motel is fine for a stop on a road trip; quiet and safe. Reception closes at 10pm, but staff were friendly and helpful with information on how to check into the room.

Property was clean and is in a very quiet area. I received a text letting me know my code to the door. I didn't have to check in. Room was clean and the bed was so comfortable. The ac kept the room cool. Only issue was there wasn't alot of outlets to plug in electronics. Overall, I highly recommend!!

A nice older motel with updated remodeling. Still doing more renovations. What I liked the most was sitting outside our room and having several conversations with other guest. I enjoyed having my morning coffee while sitting outside and watching the sunsets are great too.
