This place was everything it promised and more… the location is perfect!!! Walkable area… restaurants and shops within steps… the property is spectacular spacious and had all the comforts of home. The historic country charm of this property is nostalgic as it is beautiful… clean, well kept and convenient… the back deck area sitting right on the riverbank was breathtaking, spacious and comfortable… my family enjoyed hours of fishing!!! Yes… they caught some …there was nothing we needed that we couldn’t find in the kitchen or the bathrooms …easy access, ample parking for us and visitors… very accommodating host, quick responses to any questions… We will most assuredly be back!!!

Loved this property! Great location. Easy walk to shopping area. Hosts were very responsive and took care of our every need. The deck overlooks the Cane River and is beautiful and very peaceful. Coffee outside in the morning was very pleasant. Will book again if returning to Natchitoches!

Beautifully decorated! All the modern conveniences! Gorgeous relaxing views inside and out! The river is a peaceful tranquil spot! The road in front is busy but it gives you the opportunity to walk into downtown which is so quaint! We will be back!!

A gem in a great location

Beautifully renovated historical home in a great location, walking distance from the historic downtown district. Cozy, comfortable and the amazing backyard deck overlooking the river, complete with a swing and a table for outdoor dining, was our absolute favorite! Our family really enjoyed our time together in this gem...whether it was around the kitchen, the great family room with windows overlooking the river or the backyard, there were plenty of spaces that provided opportunities to enjoy our time together!

A Mini Vacation

It was just wonderful here. The location is exceptional. A lovely view of the river in the back and picturesque neighborhood in the front. It is within 2-3 walking minutes of downtown with restaurants and shops. The house is just beautiful and cozy. You feel right at home in the kitchen and the living room. The bedrooms are very nice and comfortable. The master bath is just to die for. I spent about two hours soaking in the tub and just relaxing. It’s absolutely peaceful and serene. I have zero complaints. I will definitely be staying here again in the near future!

Perfect in every way

Living space was perfect size to catch up with family. Kitchen area perfect size to cook and visit.Sleeping areas perfect or every one’s privacy. Location. Perfect for a morning stroll uptown & a late night snack.

This home is absolutely beautiful! Well maintained. Very comfortable and well appointed. It close and easily walkable to shops and restaurants. The thing that impressed me the most was the amazing responsiveness of the host! She was absolutely amazing!

Peaceful Paradise

We loved the property! Modern amenities with historic charm! This place was perfect for us because it was located so close to downtown that we could walk to where we wanted to go! We loved the view from the living room overlooking the river and loved sitting on the back deck too! It was just what we needed!

Christmas Magic

Beautiful place. We went for the weekend to enjoy the downtown area and the Christmas lights and fireworks. We were able to walk downtown easily and enjoy all the sights. My daughter's boyfriend proposed at the waterfall. The drone show got cancelled because of the rain, which was a bummer since we drove 7 hours to see it and the fireworks. The next time we come to town for work, we hope we will be able to stay in the same place.

Best girls trip ever

The house was beautiful, warm and cosy with everything you needed for a wonderful stay. The location on the river and within walking distance to Front Street was exceptional. We all had such a wonderful time. The hosts were fabulous. We are already planning for our next trip. Highly recommend.

Baseball Family

Our family had a wonderful stay here! Our son played ball at NSU over the past four days and this home was a perfect location. It was relaxing when we wanted to stay in, and close to shopping and restaurants at Front Street when we wanted to get out. A beautiful place!! Highly recommend to anyone looking to come to Natchitoches!

Updated Southern Home With River View

What was once a medium sized 1940’s era home has been updated, enlarged and landscaped beautifully. The great room, primary suite, and covered deck are gorgeous, with gorgeous river views. Tropical plants outside the great room and off the deck are stunning. The location is within 2 or 3 blocks of charming shops in the downtown and of the lovely riverfront park and walkway. Access to the house is very easy with a door code. The beds are comfortable but the pillows are all extremely firm. If you prefer a more pliable pillow, you may want to bring your own. The refrigerator has no ice maker but there are now ice trays for you to make your own. The individual cubes are dime sized so water freezes quickly if there is none when you arrive. Coffee pods are provided for the coffee maker. We were glad to see it was Community Coffee! This is a very pretty property with a great location and quick responses from the owner.

Very nice house

The House was wonderful and perfect for three couples. We loved sitting on the deck. Lucas walking distance to everything we wanted to do. Property manager was very nice and easy to reach. Would definitely stay there again.

Excellent Family Home

This was a great house for our family and exceeded our expectations. The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms had all we needed and the kitchen & living space were great! We highly recommend this home for any family visiting Natchitoches.

EXCEEDED EXPECTATIONS!

The accommodations, location and weather made for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. The home was beautifully decorated. Each room was fully equipped with all the comforts of home. The deck seating, tv and hot tub set the mood for a causal morning and evening.
