"The Inn had a great first impression. Staff and visuals were very good. Pool area was very nice. We didn’t eat there but it smelled good. The beds were very comfortable. Our issues were in the bathroom. No hooks or shelves for a place to put our toiletries. No place to hang towels other than tossing over the high glass shower door. We took our first shower on a Saturday morning. For each of us the water pressure was temperamental. A weak stream was the best. It then dropped to water flowing down the wall. I was barely able to get my face and hair rinsed of soap and shampoo. Then it returned to a weak stream again. Thinking an evening shower would be better, it then only had luke warm water. Very early the day we left, the water was chilly. Those two days we didn’t shower, including the day we spent at the beach. Sorry that this is lengthy. I hope that the third floor customers didnt all experience what we did. I hope it can be fixed. Knowing it is an old building, we still hope improvements can be made with this issue. We did sleep great though. "

"Great experience - old house so as expected on bathrooms etc. the back to back units share an AC which was in our unit so I was fine with it. If I had been in the other unit I wouldn’t have been so thrilled about that haha. Super cute town and this was right in the middle of it all"

"This is by far the easiest review I have ever written. Excellence is almost unrealistic to achieve, yet after our one night stay at Majestic Jewell, it is the perfect word to describe my husbands and my reaction. First off, we rarely stay at a non-water view place but since it was one night and a 2 hour drive from our home, we decided we wanted to really get to know the area. We visited the Gulf Specimen Lab in Panacea, Carrabelle History Museum and the Apalachicola National Estuarine Research Reveserve where we walked the trails and boardwalk to the powery white sand beach. And then to the accurately name Majestic Jewel of Apalachicola where are eyes beheld the most stunning remodeling and totally refurnishment of what was first a private home, then a bank and now the eptome of "Excellence". We were warmly greeted by June and after a brief tour of the downstairs living area, husband and I settled into comfortable chairs on the front wraparound porch for our personal happy hour. We later dined at Up The Creek Restaurant where we and other diners had access to provided binoculars so that we could scan what only can be described as the one of the best panoramic view in Apalachicola. One reviewer said that June & Greg had provided every concievable need a visitor might have...and then some. TRUE as were all the other reviews. The Majestic Jewel will exceed your expectations and provide a most wonderful experience."
