Beautiful, traditional hotel with a lot of character. I stayed here during Oktoberfest and it was perfect. Close enough to Oktoberfest to get there easily by public transport, but far enough away to avoid the chaos.

The king suite was spacious and charming. Hard bed though, not good for my back. The direction of the shower head needs to be checked prior to turning on as it can and did blast me and my mom in the face and spray all over the bathroom. Not enough shelf space in the bathroom for Toiletries. Overall pleasant stay.

In a quiet area with a convenient walk to Maximilian Strasse. Beautiful old hotel. Love their living room and bar. Staff are very friendly and helpful. You must go to Gandl restaurant to eat! Not handicap friendly is the hotel drawback.

This is our third multi night stay at Hotel Splendid-Dollmann, and we've enjoyed it even more each time. This boutique Hotel is well maintained, clean, and artistically attractive. Every member of the staff was very polite, efficient, and helpful. The continental breakfast was wonderful, with so many good choices to keep us full and happy until late afternoon. It's very well located to walk downtown in an area of culture, retail, and Munich's wonderful food. Within a 5 minute walk are several restaurants to eat and drink local food and food from around the world. A 20 minute walk to Viktualienmarkt introduces you to a 5 acre fresh market, open daily, selling fresh meats, vegetables, fruit, cheeses, wines, bread, chocolates. It's a great Hotel, with great staff, a great location, and a reasonable price for our last 4 nights in Europe.

The overall experience was great. The staff was super professional, caring and just amazing people who try to go above and beyond for their customers! The breakfast buffet was the highlight of the stay especially the supervising person Maria ! She was offering us some specialties describing how they were prepared or cooked. She also tried to give some suggestions about cultural life and points of interest. The upsetting part of the stay was horrible garage with super inconvenient entrance, exit, and lack of space and modern features ! Also no safe in the room seemed very obsolete for us

The property was great. Staff was excellent very helpful with any questions I had. It’s in a great location, very walkable to everything especially the little downtown shops. The area was very quiet and safe, which was important to me traveling solo. Would stay here again 10/10.
