The room was clean and nice. Bed was comfortable. The continental breakfast was not very good. Limited choices. Fruit did not look good. A few bread choices but the toaster dropped the toast in the back of here you could get burned trying to reach it. We asked a staff member where was the closest grocery store and they did not have a clue.

Reserved the forage oceanfront room with a water view. Was given the San Juan room facing the parking lot. The in-room HVAC unit was confusing to operate leading to uncomfortable temperatures that were too cold or warm and stuffy. Operating instructions nearby would have been helpful. The property was new and everything was clean. Our room had a kitchen with a full sized refrigerator. It’s in the center of Anacortes, a cute port town. Food and stores within walking distance. We came during the Tulip Festival but we’ll be back for whale watching this summer. They don’t have 24 hr staff on site so if you arrive late they’ll arrange for you to use a key box or use your phone with a code. Breakfast was available from 9-10am which seemed late. We didn’t eat there because our day started earlier.

If you need help, There’s no hotel staff present at the front desk after 7pm-9:00am. Hotel Website says breakfast between 7am- 9am, no staff were available and the breakfast area was completely closed at 8am, we had to make a McDonald’s run and staff arrived at 9am.
