One block to Main Street, close to so many shops/restaurants 3 miles to ferry ( reason we were there). Wifi/cable good.

The hotel was old and very outdated. They said they recently renovated it but really didn't show it. It smelled very old and the windows had stains on them like it was never cleaned. Same with the curtains. The couch looked very old and dirty. We had to use the bedspread to cover it so we could sit down. The building is built out of cinder blocks and there is absolutely no insulation from noise. You can hear everything! I can hear all the conversations people were saying next door. The rooms are next to the parking lot and you can hear every car starting there cars and leaving. You can hear the cars arriving and their conversation. We couldn't sleep due to all the noise during the night. You can hear people going to the bathroom and flushing their toilets. It was very hard to sleep with all the noise. By morning, we couldn't wait to leave. We didn't even bother to stay to our check out. I would not recommend this hotel to anybody.

Receptionist was pleasant and helpful. Room was nice. Had trouble getting it warm enough. The small forced air wall heaters weren't quite up to the job. Would stay here in the summer but might pass on it in the winter.

Little crappier than I was expecting. It was a large room with two separate areas and a kitchen. It was pretty old and in a gross neighborhood. Bed was super loud and squeaky, but not terribly uncomfortable.

This hotel was located very close to many things in Anacortes. The actual hotel was not that pleasing to the eye. The hotel sheets had cigarette burns and the walls were painted concrete blocks. Other than the looks, there was a full kitchen with cabinents, stove, sink and microwave which would have been nice if we stayed longer than one night. The hotel staff were friendly as well. The mattress were comfortable enough and the TV had enough channels to keep one entertained. There didn't seem to be many other choices in hotels in the area so for the price, it was good enough.

The area is beautiful...unfortunately, the same cannot be said for the motel. First room offered smelled very heavily of cigarette smoke, though it was a "no-smoking" room. Second room had some odor, but better. Decor looked like it hadn't been changed in 20 years (including carpet), bathtub had chips in enamel, linoleum in bath was curled up at entrance exposing bare floor and bed was horrible (no support, lumpy). The motel looked like it housed many "weekly stays", not tourists. We arrived at 9:45 pm or I would have been looking almost anywhere else for an alternative. In short, probably the poorest accommodations I have ever stayed in.

The experience started when I pulled up with my children and the stairs to the office were blocked by a group of smokers. Office and other staff was very friendly and helpful. Room layout was fantastic with two queens in separate but connected rooms, but the room smelled terrible - very musty. Usually you get used to a hotel room smell, after all, they all smell different, but I never did get used to this one. This was a quick overnight stay for us before taking the ferry, and the location was perfect - close to restaurants and to the ferry location.

This is a clean, simple, thrifty place to stay when in the town for charter fishing. The room was huge with two adequate queen beds separated by the bathroom and kitchenette in the middle. This part of town is quiet and the rest of the guests were quiet when I was there on a Wednesday. It only a 12 minute drive to the charter docks or 10 minutes to the San Juan Ferry.

Motel was not the cleanest. No utensils in the kitchen. Forgot to restock towels, soap and shampoo on the second day. It was alright for the price. Would not return. They were out of roll away beds.

Great value for money in preparation for taking morning ferry to San Juan Islands. No frills. Would stay there again!

Last time we were here, things were pretty run down. They have put a LOT of work into refurbishing the place. Nice bright kitchen, freshly painted rooms; even though we only stayed the night (taking the early morning ferry), if we had wanted to stay longer and cook our own meals, it would have been really easy to do. It's nice having the two large rooms, too. The location can't be beat - close to downtown, yet a block away from the busiest area, so it's quiet. Clean, with very good beds. What more could you ask?

Didn't like taking luggage up stairs to second floor. A better elevator would have been nice.

Great location in historical downtown area. Easy walk to restaurants and shops. They let us leave our car in their lot after we checked out so we could visit the Anacortes Art Festival (downtown parking is a problem during the Festival. But this is a very bare bones establishment. OK if you just need a place to sleep for a night or two,

The motel is in a perfect location, rooms are comfortable and clean, staff is friendly and service is first class. Location of the elevator is in a scary and not very clean corner of the hallway and one needs good muscles to open the elevator door. This ruins the first good impression.

It met our needs, was very spacious and very affordable. Close to shopping etc. Was pleasantly surprised to have free wi-fi!

The check-in was great. The room was large but even with the kitchenette area, you need to bring all your utensils. There was a coffee maker (very good!) but when I tried to make coffee, it didn't work (very disappointing!). We could hear someone snoring in an adjacent room which was not comforting. We were just there overnight which is all I would recomend, but the price was right.

Very cozy and quiet

Hotel was more like a prison. Concrete blocks for walls, smelled horrible and carpet was similar to what you would find on a minature golf course.

We arrived late in the evening, took the scary 1920 style elevator to the 2nd floor and entered our room where we discovered a free upgrade to a two-bed room... awesome! Then went to bed early and left for the ferry early.

Nice location in town and not far from the Ferry Terminal. Room was spacious and had a kitchenette, however it was empty so you could not use it. Bathroom on the small size and without a hair dryer.
