The view is really the highlight of this hotel—it’s beautiful, and there’s easy beach access with chairs and umbrellas available on a first-come, first-serve basis. That part was a nice touch.
However, the room definitely needs a deep clean. When I walked in and took my shoes off, I already had sand on my feet before even going to the beach. The floors weren’t well cleaned, and there were visible signs this is a pet-friendly hotel—like dried-up pee stains on the floor. The bathroom is also extremely small and tight.
Another thing to be aware of: while the hotel advertises free parking online, I was charged a $21.24 “small fee” at check-in that turned out to be for parking. It would’ve been more transparent to just say that upfront. Also, if you’re bringing a pet, know there’s a $75 pet fee—even though they advertise as pet-friendly, the fee isn’t clearly mentioned until you’re checking in.
I didn’t try the breakfast, so I can’t speak on that, but overall, while the location and view are great, the cleanliness and lack of transparency about extra fees were disappointing.
