It was extremely cold on arrival - 12c inside. We contacted the host about something else (games room - see below) and were told that this is the owners intentional policy for 'sustainability reasons'! We had small children with us and the house did not fully warm up until the following evening - so the first 24 hours was uncomfortable - eating dinner and breakfast with coats on and cold children is not really a holiday!If we had been told it was a mistake and someone had just forgotten to turn on the heating, we'd have accepted it. But for this to be intentional seems crazy!Also, we had booked this house in part because of the games room. We found it locked, and contacted the host to see where the key was. Only to be told that the games room was "unavailable at the moment" - very frustrating. No offer of a small refund in compensation was made. It's frustrating to be told you will get something, and then not get it.The actual house was fairly nice and decent for our purposes, but the experience was not good due to the poor hosting.
