Overall our stay was good, nice clean room, daughter (8) enjoyed the pool, breakfast was good. However, when I looked at the receipt when we left, I noticed that staff had charged us 15% tax on top of the total Expedia total price as booked. Due to the dishonesty, I will not stay here agsin, which is a shame because it was an exceptional hotel that was terrific in every other aspect.

The room was advertised as pet friendly, but we weren’t notified that there was an extra fee for the pet until after we booked. The woman at the front desk was always friendly and helpful. However, in the middle of the night the heat went off in the room and instead only cold air can through the heater despite several attempts to make it work. I ended up turning the unit off.
