When checking in, we had to pull into a very tight space of a garage where the valet was waiting. They barely spoke English and looked like they hated their job. Then we go upstairs to check in. The elevators were slow, sounded terrible and was very hot. At check in, we were not greeted and the staff were talking to each other and I had to wait for them to finish their conversation. When I was called over, the lady said one word to me, ID. She didn’t say anything else. She checked me in and gave me the key and didn’t say anything else. I had to open the book to find the room number, I had to find the elevators, I wasn’t told anything, wasn’t even asked for a credit card. We get to our floor which we guessed by the room number, and it was very hot in the hallway. Thankfully our room was cool. The room was large which was the only good thing about the stay. The breakfast was not great and the pool was the size of a hot tub. The entrance and hotel location wasn’t the best, definitely wouldn’t have gone out at night. The valet was quick at least whenever we needed our car. When I checked out, I didn’t receive a receipt and again the lady just wasn’t helpful and said you’re good to go, that’s it. I was in a rush so I didn’t think to ask for it because I assumed they’d send it to my email, which they didn’t. I had to call to get it. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel when staying in Miami. It’s not close to anything and is pretty hidden.
