Here it is going into five days since my visit and Avid still has not returned my “incidentals” charge. This practice of charging this ridiculous fee is just a way for these multi-million dollar corporations to sit on piles and piles of customers’ money.

We had reserved 2 queen beds for our room and when we got there 1am, the front desk told us that they were sold out of the queen beds and were going to give us 1 king. We had booked our room 6 months in advance so it’s surprising that they gave it to someone else. We got to our room and the door wouldn’t open and front desk tried to open the door with hangers and knives. We ended up not staying there and having to walk to 5 mins to the hotel behind.

Disappointed and Disturbed by My Stay I stayed at the AVID hotel from Thursday to Sunday and unfortunately, the experience fell far below expectations. Although I never requested room service, I did expect basic cleanliness during a multi-day stay. The room was never cleaned, despite asking for towels twice—someone finally came by around 11 PM, but the room remained untouched. Even when I explicitly requested a cleaning, the staff only picked up dirty towels and stretched out the same sheets. A piece of paper I purposely left on the floor to test attentiveness remained in the exact spot throughout my stay. The final night was the worst—a cockroach crawled out, which was terrifying and unacceptable in any accommodation. To add to the distress, my rental car was stolen from the front of the hotel at around 10:30 PM. While I recognize that crime can happen anywhere and that the hotel isn’t directly responsible, the police requested security footage, which should be standard procedure for guest safety. This stay left me feeling unsettled and deeply disappointed. I hope the hotel takes these concerns seriously and makes the necessary improvements to offer a safe, sanitary experience for future guests. Would you like help ta

I love your hotel! That being sad, the person tidying up after breakfast was extremely loud and had an irritating affect she was giving off. She slammed the chairs into the tables and dumped the trays, holding the cold items onto her cart with a loud clang. She yelled at other employees instead of going to them and speaking with them. Being someone who sleeps in a little late, I was not happy to hear all the loud banging noises. The room cleaning staff is also loud in the morning. There is a gap around the room door and the employees chatting and laughing right outside the rooms they are cleaning is loud. However, I am happy to report. The staff was happy and that makes me happy.

We weren’t there for long and everything was as expected. The only problem we had was with the drain in the bathroom sink. Once it was closed we couldn’t open it again to let it drain. Otherwise, all was fine.
