The Overall experience was excellent. The Reception staff (Particularly Jacinta and Bianca) were lovely and super helpful when needing to accomodate my adult daughter into our room, whilst my husband was in hospital. They helped with organizing taxis and a late permit for parking as well. Whilst it was obvious you were having a change over of furniture during our stay, this did not inconvenience us. The only criticism I have is in relation to the car park. The signage displayed in the lane does not clearly indicate a right turn into the Quest carpark. We continued down the lane into the gated area of another business. The gate closed behind us, as darkness set in, and we were unable to exit. Had to call Quest Reception to see if they could contact the business and enable us to exit. Thankfully, after some time trapped behind the gate, a car from their carpark proceeded to exit and we then followed them, whilst the gate was open. More distinct signage, that is easily seen in the evening, would have avoided this scenario.

Stayed in a recently remodeled apartment where the kitchen and bathroom had been remodeled. However the furniture was still the same prior to the refurbishment and just looks tired. I was very disappointed as this apartment was advertised as a superior 1 bed apartment and one nights accommodation wasn’t cheap. Also I received an invoice after my departure for parking and at no time was I advised that there would be a charge. I’ve stayed previously at the Quest Ivanhoe and never been charged parking. This visit for me was disappointing.

This property cancelled our reservation booked months in advance for F1 Grand Prix weekend in Melbourne at the last minute leaving us scrambling as most hotels were booked. We had to book an alternate hotel at considerably more. Their specious reason was that there were renovations going on. If that was the case they could have told us when we booked this might be the case but they did not. Could this have been a money grab on their part??? I will never stay at a Quest property

Was not told about renovations until arrival, no veiw due to scaffolding, dust from renovations and paint smell made it difficult to breath and sleep. I have breathing issue's due to medical condition. Builders where talking loudly outside our window at 7am. Builders took over hallways and elivator. Was not happy.

The initial problem was that we were allocated a Studio apartment after booking a one-bedroom superior apartment. This was sorted after the first night and we were very happy to move into a nice one-bedroom apartment. A late-night, loud girls' get-together in a nearby apartment was disappointing but obviously difficult for management to control. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Crawling insects in bedroom and bed. Spent night trying to sleep on couch, unsuccessfully. Was told by management that it was due to trees near building that council would not allow to be removed. I was told I was ineligible for any refunds etc as I’d booked through last minute. Management did apologise though. Not very impressed.

It was convenient to shops, restaurants and transport. The receptionists were very helpful and pleasant. The room was clean and comfortable. The connecting doors on studio rooms did not keep out the noise from next door.
