Second Floor Cabin

My son and I had a great stay. The place was wonderful. It was like staying at a wooden cabin, open layout, nice balcony, very cozy and warm. Plenty of windows makes it hard to keep the sun light out, so be aware if you’re planning on sleeping in. There is a kitchen, very limited though, if you are planning on cooking full meals. I was able to make breakfast: eggs, bacon & toast every morning. Overall great!

Great Cottage Upstairs

We stayed here while renting the main house. The extra suite over the carport was a cozy and beautiful place to stay during a family visit. The shower works very well and the bed was very comfortable. It’s fun to be up amongst the tree tops of the palm trees and look out over the beautiful landscape. We would rent this again!

The property has a wonderful retro vibe but with modern amenities that made it very comfortable. The wifi here is also good enough to hold conference calls if needed to which was a relief. The gem of this property was the Florida room which was fully protected with fly netting and had comfy Adirondak chairs. It was very nice to chill out in the evening without having to apply bug spray or other flying beastie deterrent. The property owners are wonderful and very quick to respond to any questions about the property.

Visit to daughter who resides in Melbourne Village

This property had an excellent aura about it from the moment we entered the driveway and building. It was extremely accommodating and had a simple charm to it with the furnishings and all around look. It is a best kept secret. We will return here for sure for our future visits to this beautiful area. We felt very welcome and we had everything we needed. Bed, bath and kitchen met our standards for a setting like this and the value was very fair for a week stay. Thank you!

A little tropical paradise

My family loved this place! It's like staying in a little tropical paradise. Cute, quiet neighborhood, and lots of plants and wildlife right in the back yard. We especially enjoyed the screened in porch! We would definitely love to stay again!

Tranquil Setting

The property in Melbourne Village provides the best of both worlds. When you are there, you feel very isolated and private, with lots of trees and birds as well as other wildlife. Drive a few minutes and you are near all the stores, dining, and attractions you could ask for. The owners allowed us to check in early as our flight arrived in Orlando early on the morning of our arrival. They also promptly answered any questions we had. The only suggestion we would have is that they could provide a small cooler and chairs for the renters to use at the beach. Overall, we would recommend the property and would stay again in the future.

Tropical Hideaway in the middle of everything

The Property is Amazing, the Owners are amazing, check in was a breeze, if you are looking for privacy like I was in the middle of it all this place is for you. The owners are only a phone call away, we did not need anything, vehicle nice and rustic setting with modern A/C and Heating, ROKU, NETFLIX, Etc. restaurants & shopping are right around the corner, I travel 3, to 5 times a year, now that I found this hidden Gem, it is where my Future Stay will be when Im in Florida always, Jonathan let me say thank you to you and your Lovley Wife and for letting us make memories at your wonder property, hope to see you guys sooner than later lol Thank You :)

Quiet, cozy retreat

This wonderful spot feels like you're in the country but is actually close to everything--shopping, the beach (15 minutes), Eau Gallie arts district, etc., and great neighborhood to ride bikes or take short walks on local trails. Outdoor deck snd screened porch gave us the opportunity to spot woodpeckers and an osprey. Lovingly preserved original 1940s space is perfect for two. Host is very responsive to any problems (a malfunctioning light fixture was fixed within hours). We would definitely stay here again.

Treehouse in the middle of a forest

We loved it. We were on the 2nd floor which had wood everywhere and lots of windows. We woke up to the birds singing. We had coffee and we read on the screened in veranda which was perfect. Absolutely loved all the nature trails. I think Melbourne Village is the nicest part of Melbourne that I have seen.

Oasis in the middle of Melbourne

This is a very special and wonderful place. If you need modern amenities, this may not be the place for you. But if you prize natural light, an aesthetically pleasing environment, peace and quiet--this place is amazing. The grounds are beautiful, and there are trails to walk or bike accessible without getting in your car. We've been coming to Melbourne to visit family for years and had no idea there was a neighborhood like this.
