The Desert Oasis Campground

The Javelina Hitchhiker Travel Trailer comes complete with a queen-size bed with linens, microwave, stove, refrigerator, table, chairs, couch, and air conditioning. The Javelina also includes a private bathroom and shower with hot and cold running water. Accommodates up to 2 people. Pets are allowed and there is a pet fee of $10/per stay. If you bring pets, please let us know when making reservations.
The "Javelina" comes with Dish TV.

A campground at 4200 feet above sea level on an Arizona desert oasis. for those who love the outdoors. The camping area has a panoramic view of the Mule, Swiss Helm, Perillo, Chiricahua, and Dragoon mountains and is located just outside the quaint, historic city of Bisbee, voted as having the best year-round climate in Arizona. In winter, the dry desert air makes it feel a few degrees warmer than the thermometer indicates.

Located on a 120-acre ranch we are pet friendly and have over 3 miles of hiking trails. Our accommodations also include camping cabins and RV rentals. For your enjoyment, we have a large well-equipped recreation center with a tv, darts, ping-pong table, pool table, vending machine, and well-equipped kitchen. The Clubhouse also comes equipped with bathrooms and a shower.

3rd Time A Charm!

This was my 3rd time staying here as a single older female traveler with my dog and it was a great experience. I always meet so many nice people on every trip there at the campground and I always feel comfortable, safe, and welcome at Desert Oasis Campground. It’s so close to Bisbee and not far from the Chiricahua Mountains which are beautiful and Wilcox. I would highly recommend this place!

Great place to stay!

It’s close enough to Bisbee for shopping and fun! The wildlife in the area is amazing. Wonderful host and we thoroughly enjoyed the game room and access to the barbecue.

Another great experience!

2nd time renting this little gem as a female solo traveler and loved it as much as the first! Felt very safe and would recommend this place 100%! So peaceful and beautiful down there. Only complaint is the WiFi is not very good but I shouldn’t complain as we all need a break from that crap….right! Did my soul good to not be online.

A little slice of heaven

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Desert Oasis Campground. The Javelina Hitchhiker camper was perfect and was a wonderful "home away from home" while we explored Bisbee and the surrounding areas. Carrie was a wonderful host, and she went above and beyond to make us feel at home. We had an amazing time and will definitely be back!

Great Experience

I am a solo female traveler and travel with my dog a golden retriever and have to say this experience was awesome! The place was amazing and the people were so welcoming to me and my dog! The place was immaculate, a/c worked great, had WiFi, satellite TV and the shower in the place was great. It was the best experience and a total gem of a place and plan on going back to rent it again.
