Our grandchildren live in Mason City (in a small home), and we came from North Carolina for the Christmas holiday. We enjoyed everything about our stay at the Holiday Inn Express. The rooms were clean, the breakfast was very good, free wifi and parking were appreciated, and we will definitely stay there again when we visit!

We didn't each much breakfast but what was there looked delicious. The coffee machine made great coffee. The breakfast and sitting area was so clean and so comfortable. Enjoyed several cups of coffee and visited till we left for a doctor appt. in time. The staff was amazing! Both checking in and checking out and staff working breakfast!

The entire hotel was exceptionally clean and well furnished. Our room was huge and extremely comfortable. Breakfast was great and provided a lot of options. Very nice hotel - you should absolutely book here.

I travel a lot and this is honestly of the best hotels I’ve stayed at. The outside of the hotel is immaculate. The inside is pristine and smells WONDERFUL throughout. The front desk staff is super friendly and helpful and the rooms are beautiful and super comfortable. The breakfast bar was great. I have celiac disease so I’m not able to find much at most self serve breakfast bars but this hotel has sausage, yogurts, boiled eggs and fruit that I knew was safe for me to eat. They also had hot omelets ( though those sometimes have flour used in them so I steered clear), biscuits and gravy, hot cinnamon rolls, a pancake maker, cereals and muffins for people to choose from. They also had a coffee machine that ground the coffee beans fresh before making you a cup.
