The cabin itself is charming and the view is fantastic—we really wanted to love this spot. However, the experience felt much rougher than the listing implies, and several basic amenities were missing or misleading.
Water: The listing promises a 'water dispenser,' but we only found a 5-gallon open jug with no lid or pump. It was difficult to use and hard to determine the source of the water.
Comfort: The fold-out futons were incredibly uncomfortable, making it hard to get sleep.
Cleanliness: The large barn doors do not seal, meaning the space was full of dust and bugs. We understand this is 'glamping,' but the gaps made it impossible to keep the space clean. This could be fine if it were described as a shelter rather than a 'cabin', implying window screens.
Amenities: We also found the instructions for the outhouse and water situation very unclear.
The property also has quite a bit of old farm equipment scattered around, which takes away from the peaceful scenery. If the host upgraded the bedding, provided a real water dispenser, and added more specific details to the description, this would be a gem. As it stands, it felt overpriced for the lack of basic functionality.
