A beautiful hotel with gorgeous grounds! The pool and Blue Water Grill was outstanding. We had room 340 which was amazing. It was a suite with an enormous balcony overlooking the pool and beautiful multi colored water in the bay. Highly recommend this Hotel.

The room was spacious, comfortable, and clean. The only negative was the in-room refrigerator was too small to be of any use. The resort's outdoor amenities were great! The adjoining marina is incredibly nice and John, the Dockmaster, is a super manager.

The staff at the Starbucks dining were very kind and friendly! The pool area and “beach” also very nice. Great atmosphere! 1 negative: there was dog poop in a couple of areas, which we notice for 2 days not getting taken care of. Maybe make note that pet owners should pick up after their pet?

Underwhelming

Checking in should be a happy experience when you are on holiday but when you book a king bed room with a balcony (not cheap) weeks ago that’s what you expect to get. Not so, offered a room with two queen beds as hotel was full. Bookings don’t seem to matter…it’s first come first served during busy periods according to reception. Finally allocated a room with a king bed but only had a patio (overlooking the screaming kids recreation area) so not happy. Given two free breakfasts, a $35 bar credit and the removal of the $20 to self park your car. $20, really??. Also if you like piped music through the hotel grounds at 7am then it’s the place for you.

Marlon at registration made us feel welcome as soon as we walked in the door. Our room had a fantastic view of the gulf, It was spacious and comfortably appointed with a great bed. Their pools were sparkling clean and the water was warm.

Loved the resort, beds,checkin but quite disappointed that there was no kayaking available on site like nentioned online and at the front desk. Very slow service for breakfast. Could use 2+ workers working since they are also filling room service orders.

Liked the game area and beach area. The nightly fire pits were very relaxing. We didn’t like the children playing in the hot tub until late at night. Should limit their time in the hot tub, so the parents could have some relaxing time. Also, it would be nice to be able to kayak. But, overall, we would definitely like to thank the staff, Marlon and everyone for an enjoyable stay. The staff at Blue Waters, Carlene and all, got our days started with a smile. Great idea to add breakfast to your stay. We look forward to coming back!! God bless!
