"Staff were friendly and very welcoming. We found a few maintenance things that they sprung into action to take care of. We were in a suite with a sitting room. The room was quaint and offered a wonderful outdoor porch. The only con to our stay is how uncomfortable the bed was. It was hard and spring filled which kept us tossing most the night with lack of comfort. We left before breakfast, so we aren’t sure how that was, but it smelled good! We did dine at the in house restaurant. It was ok, but nothing to write home about. Our biggest enjoyment of our stay was the location. The view is astounding and you’re within walking distance of everything downtown Manteo and it’s only a short drive to the Nags Head if you want more activities."
