Nice, clean rooms, great beds and pillows! All the amenities I need - restaurant, pool, workout room. We liked being in Manteo and being walking distance from the downtown harbor area.

I enjoyed my stay with the exception ,we went to the pool one evening and were leaving and were met by some man I assume he was staff who kept telling us that we couldn't be in the pool because it wasn't certified for us to be in there at that time.Not sure what that was all about. We were getting out of the pool anyway. We had asked at check in for a pool closing time and weren't given a time. It was about 830pm.Oh and there weren't any pool towels.

The outdoor pool was really awesome. Was never too busy. Front desk staff was nice and any hotel staff was friendly. This had a motel vibe. Rooms were okay, but beds were not soft. Floors always felt dirty. Hotel was good for a short stay.

There was no toilet paper on the holder in the bathroom. After a brief search I found a new roll and installed it on the holder myself. There was a Keurig coffee maker in the room, but no coffee. This is my third stay at this hotel and the second time there has been no coffee in the room. The first time I had to go to the front desk and ask for some, but this time I didn't realize it until the next morning, which was too late to bother with it.

Room was not cleaned to our standards. We counted 3 or more houseflies that were buzzing around the room when we entered. We simply could not stay and left within 5 minutes and stayed elsewhere.

I don't want this to actually be a complaint because the staff was great but, at check in, the key programmer wasn't working so we had to prop open the door for a while so we could load in. After I did get a key card, we only received one and there were actually two of us so a little inconvenient. Also, the key card would only work on the outside door and would not work on the inside door. Other than that, everything was okay. Loved the new restaurant.

Could use some updating , the shower fixture was backwards. The room had a musty smell, seemed clean enough but just didn’t seem fresh. One of the rooms smelled like smoke.

It was horrible. The hallways had a strong odor that was very unpleasant. Our room had dusty baseboards. The sink soap dispenser did not have a lid/cover and the liquid soap was old. The hair and body products in the shower dispenser were old and grumpy. Black mold along the shower door corners and door slide. There was an inch gap on the door. Furnishing were old and outdated, nothing as described. Floor was dirty and towels were not fresh. I will never stay at this hotel or recommend to anyone!
