I love this place!

I did the 4 day bus from Sao Paulo to Manaus and there was no question that this where I wanted to stay. I've stayed here before and love it. Great staff, great location, great price, elevators, great water pressure in the shower. I absolutely love staying here.

I stayed at Rede Andrade in Manaus for two nights and initially planned to return for an additional night after my Amazon trip, but due to my experience, I decided not to. At reception on the first day, the staff did not speak English, were unfriendly, and seemed more focused on their phones than on assisting guests. There was also a travel agency representative in the lobby constantly trying to sell highly overpriced tours. He offered us a 4-hour city walk for €100 for two people, which is completely unreasonable. Even after we clearly said we were not interested, he continued approaching us during breakfast, in the lobby, and repeatedly throughout our stay. It was very uncomfortable and intrusive. The room was extremely hot. The air conditioning unit was old, dirty, and honestly looked unsafe to use. Because of this, we had to open the window, but the view was frightening and unpleasant. In the evening, we found a huge flying cockroach in the room. Thankfully, one male receptionist helped us remove it. Before leaving for a 4-day trip to the Amazon, I asked if I could safely store my work laptop at the hotel so I would not have to take it with me into the forest. That day, there was one kind English-speaking receptionist who said she would ask the manager and store it safely in the manager’s office. I tipped her 50 BRL and left another 50 BRL for the manager to ensure my laptop would be secure. I placed the laptop and a few small belongings inside a

Fizemos (eu e minha filha) reserva para 10 dias, no primeiro dia nos encaminharam a um quarto no 5 andar: mofado, o ar condicionado antigo: funcionava apenas no 17 grau, não tínhamos como aumentar a temperatura, os colchões velhos: deitávamos e não conseguíamos ficar no centro da cama o colchão nos direcionava para a ponta da cama… a internet não funcionava (minha filha estava em home office e precisou descer para a recepção para trabalhar… ficamos decepcionadas porque já nos hospedamos em vários hotéis desta rede Brasil a fora e não tivemos problemas desta natureza. No segundo dia, conversei com uma recepcionista acerca dos problemas apresentados e esta nos encaminhou para o 6 andar onde os problemas citados acabaram exceto o sinal de internet que não é muito bom, mas foi tranquilo, continuamos nele até o décimo dia. Quanto a limpeza do quarto Bruna em especial nos atendia de forma impecável. Quanto a localização é muito boa pois para quem quer conhecer pontos turísticos do centro histórico, mercado de artesato, Porto é de fácil acesso: íamos a pé e de forma tranquila. O café da manhã como ficamos um bom tempo tornou-se repetitivo: sempre os mesmos itens. Contudo valeu a pena irmos conhecer Manaus.

Falta uma transformação no hotel. Essa é a verdade. Todas as áreas estão sujas, com mofo, sem ventilação, precisando de manutenção. Os dois elevadores estavam com fiação exposta e são pequenos para a demanda do hotel. O banheiro do quarto estava MUITO sujo. O box estava opaco de tanta sujeira acumulada. O chuveiro estava verde de lodo e água quente demorava a sair. As camas era muito ruins e o hotel não possui mantas/lençois para você se cobrir, apenas o lençol da cama. Vi outros hospedes reclamando disso tambem. O ar condicionado do quarto era bem velho e barulhento, alem de também estar com mofo. A recepcionista da noite é super simpática e atenciosa, mas a equipe do dia, parece que estão fazendo favor. Não adianta chegar cedo e esperar que eles antecipem seu checkin, eles não fazem. O café da manhã é ok, bem servido. Mas precisam melhorar a disposição das mesas e a limpeza dos talheres. A localização é central, então não espere por segurança, rua bonita e limpa, etc. O hotel fica na parte antiga da cidade. Onde as ruas são sujas, esgoto passa na rua, muitos moradores de rua, inclusive tem um que dorme na entrada do hotel. Ah, o hotel não tem equipe de segurança. Se existe, eu não vi. O preço não compensa. Não retornarei a este hotel.
