Quality Hotel Manaus

Normally one doesn't think of a hotel to go for lunch or dinner. It just happened that we opted for Quality for our lunch , after having enjoyed more or less all other restaurants in town. And still enjoying. And so it was that that we were very pleasantly surprised by the lunch we had. Because in all it's decent simplicity Quality offers very internationally oriented salad and vegetables dishes. Something that you start missing in Manaus after a while. Standard Quality offers a free soup with each lunch, tasty! The ambiance is pleasant, open, light, relatively simple without loosing the touch of pleasant and professionally. We will include Quality in our list of good lunch options.

Very spacious and very clean business suite. Had an issue the first nice and they promptly got me a different room the next day. Just a couple of English channels on tv. Internet speed was just fast enough to get my work done. Not fast enough to watch videos, etc. Large king size bed was a just bit hard but not bad. Plenty of pillows though Lots of amenities in the bathroom. 24-hr room service with pretty descent food. Gym could use an upgrade. Lots of traffic noise all night long. Windows don't insulate from noise much. Didn't have hot water a couple of times. No big deal. Water was not cold either. Not the best quality Breakfast buffet per Brazilian standards. Could be better. Coffee in particular was undrinkable for me which was disappointing. You just can't get coffee wrong. Capital sin! Overall stay was pretty good though. Will definitely stay there again.

The Quality is a great place to stay. They were very accommodating when our fishing plans were changed. Great AC in the rooms and the bartenders make a great drink. Front desk staff is superb. We will stay here again. Andy M., Edmond, OK

Beds were hard and it would help to have a blanket. Only sheets were on the beds. Breakfast was excellent but the rest of the meals were only fair. Meat was so tough you couldn't chew it. Wait staff was excellent!

The best of the hotel was the view from the roof - swimmingpool. If you are lucky you can have it on your own - I mean if nobody comes. God price for the hotel but variable - we stayed 2 different days and it was 2 different prices. God breakfast. Unfortunately we got no warm water last night but I skip to complain because of departure early next morning.

I meticulously reviewed tripadvisor on the hotels in Manaus. I saw some mixed reviews, but thought people are being over critical. I suggested this hotel to my friend and convinced my wife to stay here two nights. The staff were friendly and check-in was a breeze. We were fortunate that we were placed on the 18th floor, which was far away from the traffic noise. Unfortunately the AC didn't regulate that well. It was either too cold, or if we turned it off, it was simply too hot. I was, however, thankful that the AC did work. The room was a decent size where both my wife and I could spread out our suitcases. We went down for breakfast the next day and the eating area was crowded. It took some time to find seating. The breakfast spread was not that bad. I'm a big scrambled eggs fan. The scrambled eggs here was more like scrambled soup, meaning they were so undercooked, it was a soupy mess. I thought it was maybe an anomaly, but the next morning it was also the same. I was able to find other items to consume without any issue. Hard to complain about a free breakfast. My friend informed me her room was not quite clean, and her sheets were so stained, it made her uncomfortable to sleep in the bed. She believed the sheets were clean, but badly stained. We left early in the morning to do a city tour. We returned around 3:30pm to find our rooms had not yet been made, yet the cleaning person was working on rooms on our floor. We decided to go down and go to the pool, get a drink or two, and swim a little after a day of walking about the city. The pool bar didn't exist, as the signage suggested in the hotel. There were no complimentary towels at the pool either. As we had two very thin towels that were still wet from the morning shower, we didn't take them down with us to the pool, anticipating towels at the pool. There didn't seem to be much attention that was placed on the pool by the hotel. We lost interest in buying beverages and went back to our room. Both my wife and I attempted to access the internet multiple times, with different devices, and it never worked our entire stay. If I return to the city of Manaus, I will look for a different hotel.

Very friendly hotel staff and very nice ambiance. Location is good because it's near a shopping mall, food is great and facilities are good also, no internet problem and all wifi connections are also good.

This is a pretty basic hotel. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The rooms were basic and clean. The breakfast was ok. Nothing special but no major issues, either, except there was no hot water for the entire stay. If you are looking for a basic hotel in Manaus it's fine.

This was my first time in Manaus and I was debating whether to stay in downtown centro area or in Adrianopolis, where Quality Hotel is located. I'm relieved that I stayed here as it provided an oasis from the hustle and bustle of Manaus. WiFi was GREAT! Had no issues at all and it worked perfectly well from my room on the 7th floor and in the lobby. Bed was GREAT too. I prefer beds on the harder side and I had a great sleep. The neighborhood is Adrianopolis, which is one of the safest in Manaus. There is a Manaura shopping mall next door and a Carrefour supermarket as well. I learned that a lot of locals actually eat at the shopping mall when going out since it's air conditioned, safe, and is comfortable! The breakfast at this hotel was quite complete. Make sure to order a tapioca egg omelette! SO GOOD! They also had cupuacu juice which is nice given we are in Manaus! I had no issues with air conditioning in my room, which is a must in Manaus. Overall I had a great stay and would gladly go back. As others have stated, some cons would be paid parking, 'middle of nowhere' atmosphere, and lack of 'jungle' character. Yes, the taxi fee from airport to this hotel is a flat rate of R$75. I took the bus 813 from airport (R$4.20) to Millennium shopping, and then took a taxi ride from there that cost R$20 for a total of R$24.20. On the way back, it was night time and I just felt safer taking a taxi direct so yes I paid R$75. As far as buses from this hotel to the center near Teatro Amazonas, there are a few direct options that will cost R$3.10 each way. I did it and was fine and felt safe. I'd stay here again next time I'm in Manaus.

the room was quite good (although with a minor leaking problem in the bathroom), staff was really helpful and nice and breakfast was good. but it's a bit far from main tourist points and the parking rates are quite expensive for whom is already paying for the room..
