-No staff after 9pm. -The tissue box was empty and paper toilet almost too without an extra roll. -Shower cabin was very old with moistures -And the most horrible was the heater very noisy!

One night stay

Stayed for one night on business in July. Nice hotel, no complaints. Restaurant food at dinner was very nice and reasonably priced. Room clean, perfectly adequate and in line with expectations. Continental breakfast was fine. Not much in the way of local bars or cafes, but otherwise the local area is nice.

Worst western

We required 3 things from this hotel when we booked to stay.1: swimming pool 2: air conditioning. 3: A fridge in the room. The fridges in all the rooms didnt work. Apparently this is normal. The pool was green and not usable. Was a 30°day. The air con work, but was really noisy.

VERY HELPFUL AND FRIENDLY STAFF! Great quiet room and neighbourhood, great facilities and pool... didn't get time to try the restaurant........ if you don't HAVE to be in the middle of Lyon THIS is a hot tip ;-)

2 week stay in Best Western Le Longchamp

On arrival in a hot Lyon (early June), I was surprised to see that my aircon / fan were not working on check in to the hotel. I was then informed that these were not turned on until it got hot (and trust me it was hot) which led to an annoying first few nights. The hotel is a little tired and rooms can be a little noisy. However, the hotel staff are very courteous and helpful and the restaurant served consistently good food. Overall, the experience was OK if unexceptional.

One of the rooms given smelt smokey but was immediately changed when we raised the issue. Excellent food and wine at a reasonable cost and very helpful staff.

We had a fabulous stay and it helped that they had free parking at the hotel as we would drive into Lyon every day. The staff was very pleasant and quite helpful in providing information. The pool was also very nice and refreshing on a hot day.

Been here before and the service and quality of food was even better than the last time. The staff here are very friendly and go out of their way to ensure your stay is a good one. The food may be a bit expensive but it's definitely worth it. I would highly recommend it.

Relaxing stay

We enjoyed a relaxing visit to Lyon.The hotel was comfortable,with much needed airconditioning.Lunch & dinner on the terrec by the pool was a real treat. Very friendly & helpful staff. We will visit again.

très bien, agréable séjour

Très agréable séjour. La personne à l’accueil était très accueillante et m’a accompagnée jusqu’à ma chambre en portant ma valise dans les escaliers. ( 1 côté des chambres a un ascenseur, l’autre côté, plus au calme n’en a pas). La chambre éteit propre et bien équipée avec une odeur agréable. Moi qui ait généralement du mal à dormir hors de chez moi, j’ai passé d’excellentes nuits. Le Centre Cepeq se trouve à moins de 15 minutes à pieds. Je recommande vivement!
