We stayed at this place for 3 nights on our 4 week Europe Trip. This is a normal business hotel to stay. The room size is small and Buffet Breakfast is average. The staff is friendly and helpful. The housekeeping service was too committed to clean that they kept knocking and coming in again and again to clean which was wuite bugging and when we put the Do Not Disturb sign outside, they still kept trying to open the door. When they couldn't open, the receptionist called us to ask for room cleaning. This was very annoying. If you are looking for a place to stay outside the city with free parking then this is a fine option.

This hotel was a good choice for a business stay. Not too far away from city. Quiet and seems secure area. Nice size rooms. Wi-Fi, USB charges, flat screen T0V, good parking. The only think I don't like it is the reception table. It is like a modern king of thing that you don't know where to put yourself when you get in, and who is the receptionist. But this is just question of test, much people will find it interesting.

I wish I could have stayed a little longer but the hotel was fully booked the rest of the week. The hotel has been renovated and rooms are very comfortable. The breakfast is outstanding with very fresh croissants. I could not test the table for diner or lunch. Prefer rooms on the second floor heading towards the garden. Hotel does not serve diner on the sunday evening though.

Visiting this relatively new Mercure hotel was a nice surprise. The lobby is small and informal, but really a pleasure and the check in happened in a brief. The room is spacious, the bed is great and the small bathroom had a great shower. The best was saved for last when I enjoyed the breakfast. It has a lot of choice and it is fun to press your own orange juice. Enjoy the broad choice of bread, meat and cheese.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The room was exactly as we would expect from a Mercure 4*. The evening Dinner in the restaurant was excellent and we will go back again. . The hotel is well located to the west of Lyon but was difficult to drive to the A6.

After having made a non-modifiable booking we were informed about remodellong taking place. This was indeed urgently needed. The impact of the works was not really a problem, but upfront notification or compensation would have been appreciated. A more negative experience is that they wanted to charge us breakfast, which was included in our booking. I would avoid staying in this place.

My feedback will not be the most revelant as I arrived aroun 11PM and departured around 6:30AM. But today this hotel is wel located close to the highway and in the nice city of Cahrbonnières and it's casino. This Mercure was a bit old fashioned, without they are starting their renovation. For sure with the great staff they have, when it will be at modern adn Mercure standing again it will be a top place...they also told me to install a doubt in this region it is worth :)

Where do I start, I booked the hotel back in April for a great rate of 123 Eur for 2 x rooms which is very reasonable, or so I thought. The day before I arrived and knowing how busy the hotels generally are at this time of year I phoned ahead to book a table at the restaurant. Sorry sir the restaurant is closed on Friday nights was the reply. Undeterred and as I've got pre-booked rooms I arrived at what's best described as a building site. No reception, no lifts, lots of soil and building material outside and inside (not to speak of the dust). Apparently the 4* Mecure hotel should have informed me back in May building works were taking place, but somehow I was missed of the list. Friends who arrived later with their disabled daughter were treated to 3 flights of stairs with a wheel chair - wonderful. Evening drinks at the empty unmanned bar was a combination of wine with flies. The Hotel receptionist / security / barman / something was not allowed to open a fresh bottle of wine - so we were left with the dregs of the wine which had been open for several days (hence the flies) - very unpleasant. To sum up, the location is actually nice away from the motorway hotels and a very close to nice town - we found a great pizza place 5 mins drive away. Save the 20eur avoid the hotel breakfast and head into town for some artisan croissant which are infinitely better. But to be classed as a 4* hotel was a joke, this hotel was possibly one of the worst I've ever stayed in - they need to get their act together - inform guests the hotel is being pulled apart so you can change your plans and sort out the restaurant situation - avoid for now.

The hotel was pretty expensive for a basic room. I guess it was the Euro travel rate of 275 euros but there was no transport into town. We had to get a cab both ways. Skip breakfast euro 27 for a croissant and half a cub of coffee that they bring you. It was a place to sleep but we stayed in much nicer places for the price.

Stayed there for a short tip for Lyon and surroundings. The outside is french brutalo concrete style, the inside is typical mercure magenta. The rooms are a bit outdated, but decent. The restaurant is quite good with a good three course menu. The breakfast was good, with ok selection although quite pricey for what you got. Free WLAN and the excellent outdoor patio perfect for a sun downer.
