We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful location. The current administration should invest funds in the National Parks, rather than divesting from them, and rather than spending untold, mismanaged, hundreds of millions on ballrooms and personal jets. This historied encampment deserves to be kept up in a more intentional way for our children and grandchildren. Can you imagine what Skyland would look like if just a handful of millions going toward a gilded jet were spent on the deep cleaning and deferred maintenance it requires?

The location is wonderful. Many extremely accessible view points and hikes which were a short drive from the area. Also many trails right on the actual property. They served a nice dinner to our family and breakfast as well. Very kind people who work here. I would recommend this place when you are visiting the area. The heaters in the room worked great and the showers were nice and hot too! Bed pretty comfortable as well! Overall, awesome!

The staff were sweet and understanding. The room was however gross and not built for the weather we stayed in. The bathroom was freezing and did not seem enclosed and there was a massive blood or puke on the ceiling.
