Property was basic but clean. Traveled for leisure with family. Room and bathroom was nice. There was shampoo, conditioner and gel in pumps in the shower. Hairdryer Very little counter space in the bathroom. But not a reason to not go again, just noting. There was a fridge but no freezer in the room. Coffee machine with Starbucks pods available in the room. No elevator so note this if you have mobility issues and would need first floor. The room had a nice ceiling fan and AC. The view from the balcony in the room was absolutely amazing both at sunset and sunrise. As well as when the stars came out. The stars were something I’ve never experienced before at home. Free parking on site. Two restaurants on site for meal times. Lodge is 15 miles into the national park and you must pay the admission fee for the park to stay at the lodge. There is a gas station right by the lodge so that was a savior.

The staff and everyone was incredibly helpful, the food in the dining room was delicious for all 3 meals, our room was cozy and comfortable, a great stay all around. Only complaint is the small shower head, but that’s ok, it was still an amazing stay, and I will definitely be returning in the future.
