We stayed at the Hyatt Ziva for a wedding and it is a nice property. A few minor vices: The pools were a bit chilly. Also, at night when nobody is in them, the water sits still and you can see the film of sunscreen on top. The biggest thing that threw me off was at check-in, we had to pay a $250 deposit + the environmental tax fee. I knew about the environmental tax fee, but there was no mention of a $250 deposit in any of my confirmation emails. However, the staff was very attentive and patient at check-in, as well as throughout the trip. Everyone we encountered greeted us and seemed genuinely interested in our wellbeing during our stay. Also, the wedding we attended was very well executed. There were several staff members making sure everything went perfect, and it honestly did. It was the most fun wedding we have attended in a while! I would definitely recommend this property to host an event.

This property was really nice. The staff were friendly and super helpful. Diego at the concierge was very helpful. He made the stay extra comfortable and constantly checking to make sure we had everything we needed. Axel and Kenia were helpful and friendly at the coffee house. The gym was very clean.. we took classes with Nelson and Orlando. The servers at the several restaurants were nice and checked every time about allergies like Jose, Christian to name a few were great. My only issues were the limited activities, early close time for the adult only pool and restaurants availability.

Hyatt Ziva has so many great food options and activities for the kids. We love the extra celebration and treats they prepare for us during Mexico Independence Day. We plan our trips around their celebrations. Our family stayed for 5 nights and a lot of the staff knew our names and even made friends with several guests. Our favorite restaurants were La Plaza for breakfast, the station for lunch, and Cortez for seafood. Special shoutout to Jazmin at the check in counter for giving us an amazing upgraded room, Juan for the pool service, Mario at La Plaza for being so attentive, Ms Callie and Ms Elizabeth for treating our kids like their own!

We had such a great time! Hyatt had a fun filled day for the Mexico Indepencen Day celebration!

Pool side coconuts are a must!

We had a great stay, the resort is gated and as soon as you drive in you are welcomed by many friendly faces . We were always greeted with a smile throughout the day and had food and drinks offered to us all day. The restaurants were all good and breakfast was great, the coffee shop was our most frequented stop where Axel and his co workers gave us excellent service , they always had a big smile in the coffee shop and had good conversations . Highly recommend and will be coming back .

The property is amazing, right on the beach. The main and Infinity pools are very big. We were there during low season so the pools were very empty and we had a great time at the pools. The adult pool is small on the other hand. We highly recommended this hotel. The only down is we were given a room that is on a very high traffic corridor and so our room was very noisy with people walking by and cleaning staff talking early in the morning. There is also some resort speakers playing near by during the normal hours that we can hear in our room. Fortunately the hotel gave us another room after we mentioned the issue to them, which we really appreciated.
