We stayed at the Hyatt Ziva for a wedding and it is a nice property. A few minor vices: The pools were a bit chilly. Also, at night when nobody is in them, the water sits still and you can see the film of sunscreen on top. The biggest thing that threw me off was at check-in, we had to pay a $250 deposit + the environmental tax fee. I knew about the environmental tax fee, but there was no mention of a $250 deposit in any of my confirmation emails. However, the staff was very attentive and patient at check-in, as well as throughout the trip. Everyone we encountered greeted us and seemed genuinely interested in our wellbeing during our stay. Also, the wedding we attended was very well executed. There were several staff members making sure everything went perfect, and it honestly did. It was the most fun wedding we have attended in a while! I would definitely recommend this property to host an event.

I thought the beds were comfortable, and the food was decent in terms of variety. However, dietary restrictions were difficult to meet. Serving staff was limited, so there would often be long wait for any sort of order or to get drinks or to get anything. Worst part was, at an all inclusive resort, if you run out of food, defeats the purpose. Multiple times they ran out of food even in the kids activities. Mahika restaurant chef was good.

This is a great all-inclusive with eight restaurants or so they’re all very good views are incredible. The pool and entertainment is great but most importantly the staff at the hotel makes this hotel what it is they cater to you with great hospitality and they do it all from the heart make sure to bring cash and tip them at the pool because it’s only fair with the service that you are getting.

Our Butler Trinidad was excellent. He was very helpful and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was enjoyable. The room was beautiful and the bed was very comfortable. I did like all of the restaurants that they had on site and all the cool events. They had a foam party, wine and art, tequila testings and a lot of other events to make sure you are having fun on your vacation. This is also a family friendly hotel. Great place to bring your kids, they have a lot of events, waterpark and a kids club for the kids. The only downside is that you cannot enter the beach. Even though the beach is onsite, the waves were too dangerous. You would have to take a cab to go to a beach. Overall, excellent place to stay for families or a couple that was a baecation.

What an unexpectedly delightful stay! Every moment was filled with charm, warmth, and little surprises that made the experience truly special. The atmosphere, service, and overall vibe made it one of the most enjoyable hotel visits I’ve ever had. I left with a big smile and great memories.

First of all the safety of the property is fantastic. The food was very good. Some phenomenal and some was very good overall very pleased. The service was amazing. I would definitely upgrade to the club level that gives you access to the club for breakfast lunch and dinner and it gives you a concierge of your own. We had Gustavo he was amazing highly recommend he was just a text away at all times for anything we needed. We will definitely be back.

The only place we enjoyed food was the Italian restaurant. Rooms were okay we had issues with the AC leaking all over our luggage. The elevators never seem to work.

The rooms were spacious and very clean. Actually the whole resort was spotless. The people were amazing and the food was good.
