I got a great deal on what I believe was the best room in the house. Stunning corner beachfront views. The place feels like a guesthouse, but I had all private amenities (kitchen, lounge area and bathroom). The building is old (part of the charm) and the room is refurbished, but has qualities that show its vintage (so expecting a 5 star hotel experience will make you disappointed). The location is unmatched, tiny walk to main parts of Hermosa, which felt safe at night for a female walking alone. But a few streets from the main promenade, so the noise was not an issue (the windows are thin, so you can hear people talking outside, but again, its part of the charm).

We got a large studio. Right on the stand. It’s an older building, yet super clean. Built in 1923, historical building… right on the strand. So don’t expect a modern kitchen/bath but clean and totally functional. It’s super charming. Right on the strand. Original hardwood floors, moulding, doors etc. We LOVED it. Jay is awesome. Super helpful and on top of it. The people there are super friendly and chill. Did I mention it’s right on the strand? Everything you need is literally 1-2 minutes walk. Hear the waves at night, people watch, enjoy the beach and great food nearby or cook in the kitchen. Sunset views, etc. Seriously, the location is unbeatable. Full fridge and stove.. whatever you need. Great TV and comfortable bed… oh and right on the strand.

Great stay right on the beach

Fabulous location! We had room 101, which overlooks the Strand. It was a little noisy on the weekend (which the very nice man who checked us in made us aware of beforehand), but the views and location made up for it. Room was clean, but just know that the hotel is older, which adds some charm to, I think! The man at the front was very helpful and accomodating, even delivering a corkscrew to our room one night when we forgot one. All in all, a great experience!

Beach access is second to none for the price. They even had a bunch of beach toys for our toddler so that was amazing. Room was great and the bathroom had an excellent shower for washing the sand off. We stayed in the two bedroom suite and that was great to be able to sleep in a different room than our little one. Not have an AC was no big deal, we kept our windows open pretty much every minute of the day and it cooled off quickly in the evening.

I had such an amazing stay here. The building is a bit older, but it still has that vintage charm. We were upgraded to the deluxe sweet! It was soooo nice! Clean and accommodating. The views were so nice too! The beach is literally a 2 minute walk from the hotel and its about a 5 minute walk to all kinds of bars and restaurants. The staff was helpful, friendly, and super knowledgeable not only of the hotel but of the area as well. It was everything we wanted and more. Will definitely be coming back!
