The staff of the property is always super. We usually stay here for proximity to our daughters home snd walk ability to the strand. However, for the same price we can stay at the Marriott and have first world amenities. The Sea View is “ tired” and sorely aging. The rooms are becoming increasingly delapidated. Carpeting is grossly stained, paint peeling off the walls, cheap clogged shower heads and a pool that is NEVER heated. This will be our last stay here.

Was clean, minimal amenities. Bed was comfy, but pillows were hard and flat. Definitely upgrade room if possible. Regular room is very small, has small fridge and microwave but no counter in bathroom, so have to sit curling irons blow dryer etc in sink to get ready. Also may be weird if not wtaying as a couple that the wall between the shower and bed is glass (frosted from neck down) but still weird. Heated pool no hot tub. Appreciated use of bikes. Many nearby restaurants but a mile from main Manhattan blvd area. Not right off the beach its a steep 4 lil blocks, so if wish to stay on the beach there are better options, especially near Hermosa pier. The area seems clean and safe with a warm town vibe. But rooms are right off the road so you hear cars all night and lack of soundproofing you can hear neighbors tv and people clobbering their luggage up the stairs all hours of night. We did not sleep well here.

The suite felt more like an apartment than a standard issue hotel room, with separate bedrooms and spaces, a kitchenette, a spacious living room area, and a full size fridge. And with beautiful ocean views. The price was right and the roominess worked for the four of us sharing the space.
