Unable to stay due to roaches in the bathroom, kitchen area and refrigerator. Host tried to make it seem like it could have been an issue with the cleaner. There was also old milk in the fridge so who knows how long that was in there. Owner promised a refund but has not followed through. Additionally, was not able to reach host until day of arrival for access details. Arrived and found the property in the backyard of another house without dedicated parking which was not mentioned when booking. Was willing to overlook this until the roaches. 0/10 would not recommend.

Expected Something Different with 10/10 Review Ratings

Rental appears to be a converted shed. Bed and bedding was very cheap materials, nearly impossible to sleep on. AC located in the front room and doesn't make it to the bedroom well. Walking through the back yard you pass trash and junk piles. A large burn pit full of burnt household trash sits next to the porch. We left early and checked into hotel. I will never trust VRBO reviews again.

Cozy Cottage

Very cute cozy cottage. Bed is comfortable. Was able to rest, watch TV, read books, cook meals and sleep well. Kitchen didn't have everything we needed but we made do with what they had. We enjoyed our stay. Didn't get to use the sparkling clean pool.

Communication

The thing I loved most about my stay was the communication with the renter. She was very helpful and went out of her way to make sure we were content. Will definitely be booking with her again and recommending her to people if the need arises!
