Ideal spot to unwind

We had a fabulous two weeks in Les Portes en Re. The house is perfectly located - just a minute from the centre of the village, its shops, restaurants, and the almost-daily market. At the same time it was incredibly peaceful. Under the olive tree in the garden was the ideal location to sit and relax. And some of the nicest beaches on the island are just a short cycle away. The house was in good condition throughout and had plenty of room for our family of 5, plus dog. No complaints and would happily return again and again.

Delightful holiday flat in a great setting

This is a lovely spacious property with excellent accommodation for a group of up to 6 people - there were 4 of us. It has a lovely garden and very well appointed kitchen and living space, as well as being very near to a great local market and small supermarket whilst in a peaceful setting. Our only reservation was that we hadn't been told in advance that sheets and towels weren't provided - it's worth checking before you travel.

on peut laisser la voiture dans l'entrée fermée et tout faire à pieds (pour aller dans les commerces ou au marché) ou à vélo pour découvrir l'ile de Ré; gite spacieux et au calme; bien décoré et bien équipé; le wifi était en panne quand on y a séjourné mais c'était une panne SFR du coup pas de télé; la personne qui nous a accueilli était trÚs compétente; merci pour cet agréable séjour

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour dans la maison. Logement conforme à la description, grand et lumineux, 2 jardins entiÚrement clos, idéal avec des animaux. La maison est bien située, proche du centre avec ses commerces, son marché, un carrefour contact, départ des pistes cyclables pour explorer l'ile, réserve naturelle.... Les dĂ©pendances sont trĂšs utiles pour vĂ©los / voiture. Terrasse agrĂ©able y compris pour les petits dej’ tardifs au soleil ! Seul petit bĂ©mol : la literie du lit 2 places pourrait ĂȘtre revue. Wir haben einen wunderbaren Urlaub in les Portes verbracht. Das schön eingerichtete Haus besticht durch seinen hĂŒbschen Garten und die zentrale, dennoch sehr ruhige Lage im Ort. Wir fanden auch die Aufteilung des Hauses perfekt. In einem Teil befinden sich die drei Schlafzimmer, Bad und Toilette. Die Betten fanden wir ausgesprochen bequem. In dem anderen Teil befinden sich die offene KĂŒche und das sehr große Wohnzimmer. Von zwei Schlafzimmern hat man einen wunderbaren Blick auf den Olivenbaum, der im Garten auch schön Schatten spendet. Insgesamt ist das Haus sehr gut ausgestattet. Uns hat es an nichts gefehlt. Auch check-in und check-out haben problemlos funktioniert. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

TrĂšs belle maison bien agencĂ©e, dĂ©corĂ©e avec goĂ»t, idĂ©alement situĂ©e au centre des Portes, au calme, Ă  proximitĂ© des marais et des pistes Ă  vĂ©lo. 2 petits jardins de chaque cĂŽtĂ© de la maison avec une prĂ©fĂ©rence bien sur, pour celui oĂč se trouve cette agrĂ©able terrasse sous l'ombre bienvenue de l'olivier en cette semaine ensoleillĂ©e.
