Tina was very accommodating to my family. We arrived earlier than expected and she allowed us to check in with no issues. The place was spotless and we immediately felt comfortable and welcomed. I highly recommend this place.

This rates as one of the best rentals I have booked. The home was everything we needed it to be and more. It was immaculately clean, and the decor was so inviting; the Christmas decor was a plus! Check-in was a breeze and the home looked exactly as represented in the pictures posted. The host, Tina, was very attentive, checking in to make sure we got in okay and ensuring we had all we needed.Leesville is my hometown so I try to visit my family there as often as I can, and I will definitely be booking this rental anytime I come home if it is available.

Visiting with Army family at property near Fort Johnson

This was a wonderful house to visit with family nearby! It was in a convenient, safe location close to shops and restaurants.The hosts provide a lot of great extras and information about visiting the area. There is a Friday night concert series with a band in the back of the property, again noise was not bad and reasonable timeframe for sleeping hours. The band that played while we stayed sounded great! The bed was huge and very comfortable. Two bedrooms and a second bathroom upstairs. Classy modern decor! Lots of hangout space including a backyard covered patio! There is a train that goes by frequently with a loud horn, but this is hard to avoid as it goes through the entire town and is not bothersome in my opinion. Hosts were responsive and handled a few questions we had very well. We hope to stay again!!
We didn’t take a lot of pictures of the house but did enjoy relaxing on the back patio, esp.during the storm we had.
Crawfish to go was delicious! About 5 mi drive December to June -take out only

Hidden gem in Leesville

House was extremely clean. Kitchen well stocked . Bed in downstairs was very comfortable. Plenty of bath towels and hand towels. Night lights throughout the house which was very helpful at night.

A few things to consider...

I never like to leave a negative review, but I wanted to share the things that were not so great. A LOUD train horn sounded all throughout the day and night, waking us up repeatedly. We got very little sleep the entire 5 night stay. Something to consider if noise bothers you. The beds weren't very comfortable, either. Everyone has different standards, but I would NOT consider the house as "clean". Otherwise, it is a cute little, cozy house. It just needs a deep clean. I hope that helps any future guests.

Visit to Ft. Johnson

This is our 2nd visit to E. Lee St property. The house is clean, adorably decorated and well supplied. The owners even leave special treats.They are also very responsive and friendly. If we have to come back to visit our son at Ft. Johnson again we will be sure to book another stay.

Oh WOW!!!

I have been staying in vacation rentals for more than 30 years. This is by FAR the nicest we have ever stayed in. Everything you need to make this house your home-away-from-home! Everything here is five stars. What stands out is the very well-equipped kitchen, excellent laundry room, and warm interior decoration that makes this house a home. Very good for couples/families on vacation, visits to local family, etc. This is now our home base for visiting children and grandchildren! Thank you so much for your hospitality, Tina!

This house had everything you need & more. It was so clean & well kept. The hosts were very informative by having the answers to all that of your questions posted in the house on cute little decorative signs. The best part was that they had every room in the house decorated for Christmas. It truly felt like a home away from home. I go to Leesville every year to see my clients & I have found the one & only place that I will stay from now on. I will be sure to schedule my client visits around the availability of this house from now on, that's how much I enjoyed my stay here.

Cozy respite in the heart of old downtown

Home is beyond cozy and cute. Decorated for the holidays with a warm push-button fireplace. Kitchen is fully equipped with a nice Keurig for coffee or tea. Entire home is super clean and smells so nice. Husband is a runner and enjoyed the areas to run around the home. He especially enjoyed the little libraries around town that were “take a book, leave a book.” Home is very close to every convenience. Owners are super responsive and kind. Ideal for anyone visiting a family member stationed at Fort Johnson. Would absolutely stay here again. ❤️

Perfect Place to Stay When Visiting the Area

We have family in the area and spend a lot of time on and around Fort Johnson when visiting. We are a family of 5 (husband, wife, and 3 sons [2 teenagers]) and tend to travel with 1 or 2 of sons' teenaged friends. This house feels like "home", offers spacious bedrooms, well laid out for the entire group to sit and visit. This is so much better than a hotel stay and will be our new landing spot when staying in the area.

Changing of Command

We have stayed here before and we fell in love with the property so of course when we knew we were coming back, we had to stay here again. When we walked in the house, it felt like coming home again. The house is so comfortable and cozy. The kitchen has everything you would possible need to cook a meal or two. The kids love the fact that they have their very own space upstairs. We love staying here when we visit our soldier in command!
