It wasnt clean. My room was wet. The entire carpet soaked. It was so damp fhe beds were wet. It smelled of obvious long term mold issues. Dead bugs in the bathroom and shower. My door was so hard to open i had to have someone from the desk open it for me everytime i wanted in and they told me i just had to lift up while pushing in hard and swipe the card at the same time. I could never make it work. The soma. At the desk was rude and unhelpful. I wouldnt let my pet stay there

Comfortable Stay

Fireside Inn was a warming place to stay in West Lebanon, NH. Our room was amazing and we will definitely consider staying there again if we ever visit NH.

We didn’t care for this hotel. The pool did not seem clean, the hot tub wasn’t working, the hallways smelled like pot! Breakfast was okay. Pretty picked over by the time we came down. Only one person working the entire dining area.

The checkin process was friendly and quick. However, we were surprised to find that we could not take an elevator to our room on the second floor. We had a lot of stuff and two dogs and one had to be carried up the steps. The front desk mentioned there were a few stairs but it was not clear that this would affect our ability to get to our room, plus there were about 6-7 steps. The buffet was a disappointment but my husband does not agree. Of special note, because of the dogs, we had to eat separately. My husband was greeted by the waitress and served coffee etc. When I arrived, the waitress said "you know this card (for the buffet) is only good for one day" ...since we were only staying one night, I don’t know why she said this to me. She walked away, and that was it, no service. The eggs and sausage was bland, and other items in the hot tray area were messed up and not tended to. My husband especially liked the hot tub.

There was an array of breakfast items to choose from each morning. They had the best breakfast and the most choices of any hotel I had ever stayed in. The lobby was beautiful with a lovely fireplace. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Parking was convenient with plenty of parking spaces. This is a hotel I would choose for a visit again. We were very pleased with our stay.

The ambiance and stine fireplace was quite nice. Enjoyed breakfast. Our waitress coukd probably have used English lessons. She was a little off in that department and I had to explain how to make correct change when paying.

This property was great for last minute, sadly the suite was less than desirable, what was quoted as a junior suite with nothing more than a king room with with a massage chair. The bed was comfortable. Unfortunately, the headboard was broken and propped on to place. Other than that though the showerhead definitely worked as expected, and the towels were plentiful,

We have stayed here three times. The second was approximately 14 months ago. Over this time the property has become dirty and neglected. Our room was: noisy, hear other rooms showers etc, upon arrival there was tp in the toilet, hair on the nightstands, gritty substance on the floor. The dining room floor had old food stuc, and breakfast was hard and dried out with service we had to go looking for. When we checked out no one asked how it was… so here we are with our review. We expected what we had before for the price.

I will not stay again

I had a place to stay. Can't say I slept well, I could hear everything even over the air system--doors closing, the alarm for the person in the next room, conversations in the yard space outside. The bed was extremely hard. The premium room only offers the ambiance of an electric fireplace and a massage chair. Everything was old--the decor (a blast of the late 80s/early 90s) and filled with synthetic plants (the #1 offender of plastic in the environment), the sheets (pilly, rather than crisp and smooth), the furniture (chipped and some elements falling off). I appreciate the staff here. They were helpful and prompt. I will return to the Quality Inn which is less expensive and more comfortable.
